‘RHOBH’ Star Sutton Stracke Addresses Feud With Diana Jenkins, Shares Theory on Why She Doesn’t Like Her and Reason She Told Her About Miscarriages as CostarsAccuses Her of Making Things About Herself

Sutton Stracke believes Diana Jenkins joined the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills with a preconceived notion about her that was likely implanted by one of her castmates.

Following the latest episode of the show, Sutton opened up about her ongoing drama with the newbie, who has slammed her as “fake” and “boring,” before explaining why she spoke to her about her past miscarriages as the rest of the cast noted her habit of making situations about herself.

“She actually came at me and said some really horrible things,” Sutton recalled of Diana on the latest episode of the RHOBH: After Show.

As fans will recall, Diana told the ladies in a group text that she wouldn’t be attending Garcelle’s birthday party because she was on bed rest following a miscarriage, and she made sure that Garcelle, whose name she misspelled, didn’t think she was being rude.

“It just felt to me like, passive-aggressive,” Sutton explained, noting that no one could say anything back to a woman at home on bed rest.

But when Diana did show up, all “dolled up,” as described by Sutton, Sutton had a harsh reaction to her appearance.

“I said something, maybe that I shouldn’t have said because I was protecting [Garcelle], I think maybe, and I said, ‘Oh, that was a really short bed rest,’” she admitted.

According to Dorit Kemsley and Erika Jayne, such an abrasive statement likely led Diana to shut down. Dorit then noted that Diana had been through a lot “very recently” and surely had her guard up when it came to Sutton.

“That was below the belt. You don’t do that,” Erika stated.

Meanwhile, after admitting that she “can be a little jabby” at times, and suggesting her castmates should be glad she does it to their faces rather than “in a text,” Sutton said she didn’t understand the extent of what Diana had gone through. Still, she didn’t feel her “nuclear” response was garnered.

“I think that Diana came into the group wanting to not like me because one of the first times we were all together, she said I was clumsy with my words. How do you know that I’m clumsy with my words? Who told you that?” Sutton wondered, suspecting it was “either [Lisa Rinna] or [Crystal Kung-Minkoff].”

During another segment of the RHOBH: After Show, Sutton looked back on her decision to open up to Diana about her past miscarriages.

“The whole miscarriage conversation got real deep and I was really being real, like saying, ‘You know what, I’m sorry. I shouldn’t have said that. I didn’t know your experience because you never shared it.’ So I’m trying to like, work it out with her. That’s what I was doing,” Sutton explained. “Because I’ve had two miscarriages, and no I don’t talk about that a lot, I wanted to get to know that part of her and tell her, ‘I’m sorry.’ And why I’m truly sorry is I know what that feels like.”

But Diana wasn’t receptive and lashed out amid their conversation in a way that made Sutton feel that she was mocking her losses.

“She just floored me,” Sutton revealed. “What I got back from her was one of the most hurtful conversations from any person I’ve ever had in my life… I couldn’t believe what she said to me that night and her reaction. I found it disgusting.”

In addition to feeling hurt by Diana, Sutton was also faced with questioning from Kyle Richards, who wondered if she was being honest about her miscarriages.

“I don’t like how I handled that situation that night at all, after that many margaritas. It just didn’t sit well with me, the timing. I love Sutton. We are genuinely good friends. We talk all the time. But she does tend to turn conversations to be about her. So when Diana was sharing that and then she said, ‘Oh I had that too,’ I was like, ’Not again,’” Kyle explained of her reaction to Sutton’s revelation.

“I feel like Sutton makes everyone else’s problems about herself. It’s always kind of, ‘Well, me too.’ And that’s annoying as f-ck,” Erika agreed.

And Dorit felt the same.

“It’s every time. When something dramatic or bad happens to someone… [And] it comes in lieu of any kind of sympathy and then she gets upset if that’s not received,” she explained.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
