Leah McSweeney and Eboni K. Williams are no longer following one another on Instagram.
As rumors continue to swirl in regard to which former Real Housewives of New York City cast members will be included in the upcoming RHONY: Legacy spinoff, the social media update has been confirmed — just as Sonja Morgan posted a group photo of herself, Eboni, and Ramona Singer.
“Are you shocked these two are no longer friends?” The Morgan Letters on Instagram asked their fans and followers on Instagram on August 22, along with screenshots of Leah and Eboni’s follower lists.
In screenshots of Leah and Eboni’s followings, it was confirmed that Eboni is not on Leah’s list, and Leah isn’t on Eboni’s list.
Although it is unknown when Bravo will officially announce the cast of RHONY: Legacy, Leah, who is set to star on the upcoming third season of Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, addressed the topic during a recent appearance on the Hot Takes & Deep Dives podcast.
“I feel great… I feel grounded and I feel like I don’t need to worry about things, that the universe takes care of them for me,” she stated. “I enjoy being on the show, and I’ve enjoyed working with [Andy Cohen] and everybody. In the future we have to see what happens.”
As for Eboni, she told The Sun, in regard to the RHONY: Legacy cast, that she’s “really open-minded, trusts the process, and trusts the fabulous executives at Bravo.”
She then noted that she and Sonja could be headed for a future collaboration, saying, “I talked to Sonja Morgan a couple of weeks ago, so I just saw her comedy tour.”
And earlier this week, Sonja fueled the possibility of a collab by sharing a throwback photo of herself and Eboni, along with Ramona, that was originally taken in October 2020, amid production on the poorly rated 13th season of RHONY.
In response to the pic, Eboni shared a series of heart emojis as Ramona said, “That was a fun day!”
News of Leah and Eboni’s unfollowing comes just months after Leah admitted on the Two T’s in a Pod podcast that she and Eboni hadn’t spoken for some time.
“I haven’t talked to Eboni in a while. [But] I talk to [Luann de Lesseps]. I talk to [Tinsley Mortimer]. I talk to [Dorinda Medley]. Ramona, I talk to once in a while,” she revealed. “I don’t keep in touch with her but we’re fine… [And] Sonja I’ve lost touch with.”
