Ever since Scheana Shay and Brock Davies said “I do” in Cancun, Mexico, last week, fans have been wondering why Katie Maloney wasn’t in attendance despite being on the trip. And in a recent comment posted on Instagram, Brock shed some light on the situation.
After a post was shared on Instagram in which Katie was accused of screaming at her estranged husband, Tom Schwartz, after allegedly catching him in the midst of a make-out with their Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss, who he was linked to throughout the trip, Brock responded to someone who pointed out that Katie didn’t actually attend the wedding, which was just one of the locales Tom and Raquel were allegedly spotted getting cozy in.
“Katie wasn’t at the wedding though,” the fan had said, via a screenshot provided by Comments by Bravo on Instagram.
And after seeing the comment, Brock responded to the woman by revealing why Katie wasn’t present when he and Scheana tied the knot.
“She was disinvited and rocked up anyway for a ‘girls trip,'” he wrote in a comment of his own, seemingly suggesting that Katie may have wanted to keep an eye on Tom despite not being included in Scheana and Brock’s nuptials.
But after seeing what Brock had said, Katie was quick to respond, saying in a post of her own that “mistruths” were being reported.
“I’m enjoying all the untruths,” she shared, along with a popcorn emoji.
While Tom and Raquel have remained silent in regard to the swirling rumors about their alleged romance, one particular report shared last week by Us Weekly suggested that kissing wasn’t all that the duo did while in Mexico.
“Apparently, there was some heavy drinking involved. They made out,” an insider shared, adding that they heard “through the grapevine” that “more happened” between them.
As rumors continue, things between Katie and Tom, who previously proclaimed how civil their divorce had been, have reportedly grown contentious. An insider told E! News that they are now experiencing “tension.”
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is currently in the midst of production and expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime early next year.
