David Beador‘s divorce appears to be back on.
Just days after the Real Housewives of Orange County alum’s wife, Lesley Beador, 38, claimed David, 58, withdrew his divorce petition shortly after filing in mid-September, she returned to her Instagram page, where she confirmed her own plans to file.
“I am filing for divorce,” Lesley announced on Instagram on September 27. “While this is not what I would have ever expected, it is what is best. I value myself and the happiness and well being of my children. I am so grateful for a tremendous circle of friends and family who support me. Looking forward to a bright and happy future with my beautiful kiddos.”
As fans may know, David, who was previously married to RHOC cast member Shannon Beador, shares one daughter with Lesley, one-and-a-half-year-old Anna, and three daughters with Shannon, including 21-year-old Sophie and 18-year-old twins Stella and Adeline.
In addition to her statement on her Instagram page, Lesley also took to her Story, where she hinted at the tea she will one day spill about her soon-to-be-ex-spouse.
“I have a lot to share [and] will one day. For now I’m going to focus on spending all my free time with my amazing kiddos [and] laughing with friends,” she stated.
Earlier this month, after Lesley suggested David had withdrawn his divorce petition just days after his filing, a court officer for the Superior Court in Orange County, California, denied any such thing, saying there had been no requests to dismiss David’s divorce filing “at this time” and confirming there were no pending requests sitting in the queue.
In Lesley’s previous post, she had written, “My husband filed a request for dismissal a few days ago. Now back to your regular programming.”
David and Lesley tied the knot in Mexico in October 2020 after nearly three years of dating.
