Raquel Leviss isn’t in the best place with Katie Maloney, which should come as a surprise to none. After all, Raquel shared a kiss (at the very least) with Katie’s ex-husband, Tom Schwartz, prior to their divorce being finalized earlier this month.
As she attended the events of BravoCon over the weekend in New York City, the Vanderpump Rules cast member offered an update on where she stands with Katie while also gushing over her relationship with Tom and dishing on their kiss, which reportedly happened at the August wedding of Scheana Shay and Brock Davies.
“[We are] not on the best terms. I can’t speak for her, but I’m just keeping my distance and letting her work out her feelings,” Raquel shared with Us Weekly at BravoCon on Saturday.
As for Tom, Raquel said the two of them are “good friends,” noting that she’s “single” and “living [her] life.”
“I feel like [our breakups] kind of brought us together as friends and we’ve been able to support each other,” she added, giving a nod to her own split from James Kennedy. “I wasn’t expecting that friendship to blossom, but I’m happy that it did.”
During another interview with Daily Mail, Raquel said that when it comes to her and Tom’s kiss, “I don’t regret anything.”
“We just had fun. And we just, you know, live in the moment and I guess it felt right to share a kiss in the moment,” she explained. “Everybody seems to have an opinion about it. I don’t regret anything. And, Schwartz is like one of my really, really good friends now.”
“I’m very blown away by how much just media reaction the kiss got and the rumors about our relationship,” Tom agreed in his own interview with Daily Mail. “That’s like still the number one thing that people ask me. My mom hit me up there and she’s like, ‘You don’t have to tell me, but I know you’re dating Raquel.’ And I’m like, ‘Mom, I’m not dating Raquel.'”
Although Tom and Raquel aren’t dating, Tom applauded himself as a “good kisser” as his ex-wife Katie was asked about the time he spent with Raquel.
“I don’t know… I don’t know,” she responded.
Then, as Tom admitted it’s “weird” to be in close proximity to Katie, Katie declared, “He knows I’ll kill him.”
While Katie clearly isn’t thrilled about what went down between Tom and Raquel, that didn’t stop Raquel from showing her support for Tom as she attended an event (that was also attended by Katie) in a TomTom sweatshirt over the weekend.
“Raquel in the front row of Schwartz panel in a TomTom shirt,” Bravo and Cocktails wrote in the caption of a photo shared on Instagram on October 16.
Meanwhile, with another look at Raquel at the panel, Best of Bravo said on Instagram, “Not Raquel wearing a TomTom hoodie to BravoCon while Katie and Schwartz are in the same room.”
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year or in early 2023.
