Whitney Rose appeared on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live, where she and her husband, Justin Rose, commented on the recent loss of his job.
After Justin was reportedly axed due to his wife’s role on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, the couple reacted to the news as Whitney dished on the drama of the series, including the “favor” rumors about Lisa Barlow, her “rift” with Heather Gay, and her current status with the legally-troubled Jen Shah.
“We are good. I’m still sitting out a non-compete but everything’s good,” Justin confirmed on the November 9 episode of WWHL, saying, “yeah, something like that,” when Andy Cohen asked him if he was paid to sit out the non-compete.
“I felt very shameful, guilty and it was really hard for me to not feel bad,” Whitney admitted. “But now I feel like it was the best thing that’s happened to us,” she shared.
When a fan then wanted to know if she had any regrets in regard to her role in the sharing of the Lisa rumors, Whitney placed the blame on Meredith Marks.
“I wanna clarify this: The rumors about Lisa Barlow somehow was lost in that drunk mess in Arizona. The rumors were never about courtside seats for blow jobs. Never. If you go back to episode one when Meredith came over to my house, she brought up that Lisa had performed sexual favors for placement of Vida,” Whitney alleged. “I wish that I would have told Lisa on the airplane or in the hot tub but it just didn’t feel right yet because I was just getting comfortable with Lisa.”
But after hearing what her RHOSLC castmate said, Meredith took to Twitter with a rebuttal.
“I did not say that Lisa performed sexual favors. Whitney said that she slept with men for loans to her company,” she tweeted.
Still, Whitney doubled down on her claims, telling Andy, who read Meredith’s tweet amid the live episode, “Let’s just go watch that back.”
Then, Whitney reacted to the ongoing drama between her and Heather, admitting she was surprised that Heather got so upset that she threw her mic off and went to her room amid their sit-down on the latest episode.
“That was a difficult night. The moment Lisa’s name was brought up, everything went south,” Whitney reflected.
Also during the live broadcast, after saying that she hasn’t “really spoke to” Jen since she pled guilty to fraud over the summer, noting that they saw one another just “briefly” since July, Whitney was asked if Jen should do serious jail time.
“I think that she pled guilty and the judge will make the decision that is right for her,” Whitney stated.
Later, during the WWHL: After Show, Whitney confirmed her divorce from the Mormon church is “done” and responded to a caller who wanted to know where she stands with former co-star Mary Cosby.
“Last time I saw her is when we left Zion and we are not in a better place. We’re in the same place. I don’t talk to her,” she revealed.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season three airs on Bravo at 9/8c on Bravo.
