Katie Maloney seems to have rang in the new year with a new man.
Months after finalizing her divorce from Tom Schwartz following an early 2022 split, the Vanderpump Rules star took to her Instagram Story, where she shared a photo of herself and actor Lukas Gage laying in bed together. She later spoke of the “bounce back of a lifetime.”
“Bb,” Katie wrote in the caption of her January 1 pic, in which she sported a black leather jacket as her potential new beau wore a striped button down.
And with his resharing of Katie’s post, Lukas, who has appeared in television shows like The White Lotus, Veronica Mars, and Euphoria, fueled the idea of a potential romance as he said, “us only in 2023”
Hours after the apparent new couple shared their pic, Katie returned to her Instagram Story, where she shared a selfie.
“The bounce back of a lifetime,” she wrote with the image.
Prior to Lukas, Katie was linked to 25-year-old actor Satchel Clendenin. However, just weeks into their supposed romance, Katie confirmed on Bachelor alum Nick Viall‘s podcast, The Viall Files, that they were no longer dating — and had never been serious.
“That was a casual thing,” she explained. “That’s something I think got a little blown out of proportion, but he’s the sweetest person ever. But again, a very casual thing.”
As for the love life of Schwartz, he was linked to his Pump Rules co-star, Raquel Leviss, for months last summer and was later said to be dating a woman named Jo, a former friend of ex-castmate Kristen Doute. However, when he and Tom Sandoval celebrated the new year at Schwartz & Sandy’s, it wasn’t confirmed if Jo was around. Instead, it was his other rumored flame, Taylor Ann Green, and Raquel who were on hand and seen in photos and videos.
At the end of last year, after Schwartz’s alleged romance with Jo was first reported, it was noted by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram that the alleged couple was living together.
“Seems like someone is scared that if it comes out he has a girlfriend, who basically lives with him, he’ll be painted as the bad guy. Easier to make it seem like his ex moved on first,” their report stated.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime early this year.
