Danna Bui-Negrete is speaking out after her heated confrontation with Jen Shah was seemingly cut from The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
Following Wednesday’s finale episode of season three, which was expected to include the tense moment between Danna and Jen that was teased months ago in the trailer, Danna took to her Instagram Story with a lengthy statement. In it, she explained what led up to their fight and shaded Jen for poking fun at her hair and disrespecting her husband.
“Hello everyone! I have received a lot of questions in my DMs from you guys asking me when they didn’t show my confrontation with Jen or why my appearance in the last episode was minimal. I just wanna remind everyone that I have no control of how they decide to edit the show,” Danna began on January 12.
Continuing on with a second post, Danna said that when it came to her and Jen’s spat, there were a lot of things that led to her blowing up on her castmate.
“I wanted to give more insight on what happened that night. There was a build up to that confrontation that was played in the trailer,” she stated. “I wanted to have a conversation with her about her being one way around us and another way around her husband [Sharrieff ‘Coach’ Shah] and why she wasn’t taking accountability for her behavior and actions.”
According to Danna, Jen targeted her on a number of occasions prior to their screaming match.
“She was making fun of where I live, making fun of my hair, she was calling my husband different Spanish names that were clearly not his name and that was very disrespectful,” Danna revealed. “I don’t know why so much time was wasted filmed on her lies about being innocent when … well we all know how that turned out.”
While Danna didn’t hesitate to confront Jen about her bad behavior, Jen had no problem clapping right back at her. However, as Danna explained to her fans and followers, she had no plan to roll over and allow Jen to run the conversation.
“Jen didn’t like what I was saying and in her usual Jen reaction she got in my face and tried to yell and dismiss and bark bark bark. I said the difference between you and me is that you bark and I bite and I ain’t the one b-tch!” she stated. “I’ve always been one to call it like I see it and it’s frustrating that you all didn’t get to see what really happened. But it’s all good!”
“I just want to thank everyone that has been so supportive and so kind to me. Thank you!” she added.
In the cut RHOSLC scene in question, Danna was seen lashing out at Jen, even targeting her finances.
“Don’t get in my motherf-cking face,” she yelled. “If I were you I’d be real nice right now, especially if you want some money in your f-cking books.”
