Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo made an early exit from Marrakech, Morocco, after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star reportedly took things too far with the Real Housewives of New Jersey alum while filming the fourth season of Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.

While in production on the second installment of the Peacock series’ Ex-Wives Club edition, Brandi allegedly bombarded Caroline with non-consensual kissing, which left Caroline disturbed.

“It was unwanted,” a source told PEOPLE on January 30. “And Caroline’s distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline felt were serious and uncomfortable.”

While filming did not stop after the incident took place, production chose to report the incident. And the following morning, reveals a second source, Brandi was told that her behavior was upsetting to Caroline.

Although Brandi ultimately offered an apology to Caroline, via text message, a decision was made to kick Brandi off the trip that afternoon.

“Brandi’s behavior was inappropriate,” a third source confirmed. “So she was asked to leave.”

And Caroline left as well, with the first source explaining, “She needed to process this outside of the reality TV environment.”

According to the second insider, the production team and Caroline’s RHUGT co-stars, including Camille Grammer, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks, Alex McCord, Vicki Gunvalson, and Gretchen Rossi, were supportive of her decision.

After exiting Morocco, Caroline posted a photo of her granddaughterMarchesa “Markie” Scalia, at a cheer competition, and Brandi posted an image of a camel.

“Bon Soir Morocco,” Brandi wrote, which translates from French to “Good evening,” and “SHUKRAN,” which translates from Arabic to “thank you.”

On Twitter, podcaster Zack Peter further dished on what went down.

“As a result, production had to move Brandi to a separate hotel [and] unable to continue filming. It sounds like the women rallied around Brandi, which prompted Caroline to leave the trip early,” he continued. “Both Brandi and Caroline were flown home early, while the remaining women filmed through to the finale on Saturday. There’s now an internal investigation being conducted re: the Brandi and Caroline incident.”

Following the sharing of the reports, cast member Vicki weighed in, denying the claims of a Twitter user who said the drama that went down was prompted by Caroline’s longstanding feud with sister Dina Manzo.

“My source is telling me that Brandi was heard yelling,  ‘This is for Dina’ as she poured the appetizer tray on Caroline,” the person wrote.

“Your ‘source’ is wrong,” Vicki replied, via Real Housewives Zone on Instagram, along with a barfing emoji.
