Drew Sidora and Ralph Pittman Jr.‘s marriage is officially coming to an end.

Ahead of the upcoming 15th season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and just months after Drew admitted to feeling like she and Ralph were always “about to get divorced,” Ralph has filed for dissolution of their nearly nine-year marriage.

In court documents obtained by PEOPLE on March 1, which were filed by Ralph on Monday, February 27, it was revealed that he and Drew, who are both 37, separated last Thursday, February 23, and will not be getting back together.

“There is no chance or hope of reconciliation,” his papers stated.

Ralph also issued a statement to PEOPLE regarding the dissolution of his marriage.

“Love is a beautiful thing,” Ralph, 37, stated. “Unfortunately we have made the difficult decision to move on to our next chapters, independent of each other. Drew and I have decided to file for divorce. We have three amazing young children, and their mindset and growth is what is most important. As we navigate this difficult time, I ask that you please respect our privacy.”

Drew and Ralph tied the knot in August 2014 and share two children, including son Machai, who they welcomed in June 2015, and daughter Aniya, who they welcomed in February 2018 (Drew also has an 11-year-old son, Josiah, aka “Jojo,” from a past relationship, who Ralph considered adopting).

As RHOA fans will recall, the tensions between Drew and Ralph have been detailed throughout the show, especially after Drew uncovered a suspicious text message between him and his female assistant. In fact, following the text scandal, Drew admitted she nearly filed for divorce herself. However, after returning home from a family member’s residence, she decided to “regroup.”

“That’s the journey we’re on every day honestly,” she told Us Weekly last May. “We’ve made a decision to stay committed. We’re not willing to give up that easy, and we’re pushing through, and it’s not always nice. It’s not always easy and you guys just kind of have a front row to that.”

Months later, while appearing on an episode of Watch What Happens Live, Drew confirmed she and Ralph were in therapy.

“We’re on good terms. Dr. Ken is doing good things. Counseling is good for married people,” she explained.

As for whether or not she believed Ralph had ever cheated on her, Drew said on another episode of WWHL that she didn’t believe he’d ever been unfaithful.

“In my heart, I feel like he’s done some questionable things. But I feel deep down inside he has been faithful. I really do,” she shared. “People know who he is now. I need all of y’all to keep your eyes out. I feel like I’m okay now because Instagram, Twitter… He can’t move around too much.”

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 wrapped production at the end of January and is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in the coming months.
