Raquel Leviss has fired off a legal letter to her Vanderpump Rules castmates and their friends in hopes of preventing the potential release of an intimate FaceTime session she had with Tom Sandoval.
Less than one week after Raquel’s alleged months-long affair with Sandoval was revealed to the public, reportedly leaving Sandoval’s longtime girlfriend and Raquel’s close friend, Ariana Madix, “blindsided,” Raquel’s lawyers cited California’s revenge porn law, noting that the clip was recorded without her permission.
The recording “was done illegally without Raquel’s knowledge or consent,” the attorneys noted, as reported by TMZ.
According to the outlet, the revenge porn law in California, which bans “nonconsensual pornography,” makes it a crime to “invade someone’s privacy and disseminate such material.” So, if anyone were to distribute the video in any matter, whether it be by selling it, sharing it on social media, or sending it to a friend, the act would be considered a violation of the law.
While Sandoval was the only other person involved, he was not accused of any crime. Instead, Raquel’s attorneys have demanded that anyone who has a copy of the clip delete it immediately.
“This matter should be taken very seriously,” they warned.
In other Pump Rules news, a recently-resurfaced clip of Raquel attending the July 2022 soft opening of Sandoval and Tom Schwartz’s newest bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, shows the former beauty queen speaking of her relationship with Sandoval and revealing what she loves about him.
“I’ve gotten really close with Scheana [Shay] and Ariana and Tom Sandoval as well,” Raquel told E! News at the time. “I feel like he’s become one of my best friends lately.”
“He just is so in touch with himself and is fully accepting of who he is and is so confident,” she gushed. “I don’t know. I feel like he looks at me like a little sister and he’s supporting me in a very kind way. He’s a really great guy.”
