Scheana Shay and Brock Davies got married on Wednesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules. And while there was just as much, if not more, chatter about Raquel Leviss‘ kiss with Tom Schwartz, fans did take note of a major similarity between the wedding and that of Scheana and Mike Shay.
As Scheana debuted a new wedding photo from her and Brock’s August 2022 nuptials that included Lala Kent‘s face over that of Raquel (the result of some impressive photoshopping), fans realized that the man who married Scheana and Brock is the same man who married Scheana and Mike.
Along with a couple of photos from the weddings shared by Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram, the fan page pointed out that Scheana used “the same officiant for both weddings.”
And while fans were correct in their suspicion, Scheana took to her Instagram Story to explain the situation, revealing that the man isn’t an ordinary officiant, but rather a member of her family.
“It’s not odd that the same person married me because the person who married us is my cousin David, who, sorry other cousins, is always my favorite cousin,” she confirmed.

Meanwhile, on her main page, Scheana debuted her new wedding photo, which featured Lala (or rather her face and hair on Raquel’s body) as a bridesmaid.
“The most beautiful bridesmaids,” Scheana wrote in the caption of her April 12 photo, praising the “best photographer ever,” Morgan Taylor, and giving nods to designers Pia Gladys Perey and Pol Atteau.
Following the sharing of the post, Scheana was met with mixed reactions from her fans and followers, some of whom felt she was being catty and others who were impressed with the skills of her photographer.
“This is weird AF, just photoshop Raquel entirely out of the photo,” one person advised.
“Beyond weird. It’s actually childish asf,” wrote another.
“Just her face and replaced it with Lala,” a third stated.
Then, after a fourth person said, “Wait [Scheana Shay] how did you crop out [Raquel Leviss]?? Your photographer works miracles,” another fan exclaimed, “Bravo!!!!”
Also in the comments section, someone else gave a nod to Scheana’s music career, saying, “This level of petty is good as gold.”
Also reacting to the photoshopped wedding pic on Instagram was Lala herself, who shared the pic on her Instagram Story, along with a caption, joking, “It was an honor being a bridesmaid.”
