Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann‘s divorce is getting messy.

Just one day after reports confirmed the Real Housewives of Atlanta star stated that her marriage was “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation” in her divorce filing, Kroy’s own petition for divorce, which was filed shortly thereafter, has been revealed.

As the Don’t Be Tardy couple continues to live as a family with their four young children, including 11-year-old Kroy Jagger, 10-year-old Kash Kade, and nine-year-old twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, a custody battle and financial war seem to be looming. And if Kroy’s Instagram bio is any sign of what’s going on, things are definitely tense behind the scenes.

In an updated caption, Kroy’s bio now reads, “Husband. Father to six perfect munchkins. Athlete. My ring Meant a Thing, you can Google Me [and] see I wasn’t Tardy for that Party.”

In Kroy’s petition for divorce, which was obtained by TMZ on May 9, the former Atlanta Falcons player requests primary physical custody and primary legal custody of his and Kim’s kids.

As RHOA fans may recall, Kim requested primary physical custody of the children, but rather than fight for primary legal as well, she asked for joint legal, meaning that Kroy would have an equal say in certain decisions for their children, including religion and where they’ll attend school.

In addition to wanting primary custody of the kids, Kroy is also requesting that he retain possession of his and Kim’s marital home (the one that went into foreclosure in February), with Kim being forced to move out. He also requested that Kim collect all of their financial documents, including income-related material and tax records.

This comes after it was revealed that Kim and Kroy owe $1.1 million in back taxes to IRS and $15,000 to Georgia.

TMZ went on to say that because Kim and Kroy filed their separate divorce petitions in such close proximity to one other, with Kroy’s filing stamped on Monday and Kim’s done over the weekend, the ex-couple was likely in a race to the courthouse.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 15 airs Sundays at 9/8c on Bravo.
