Katie Maloney‘s mom, Teri Maloney, took to her Twitter page after Wednesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules to slam Tom Sandoval for his “vitriol attacks.”
In the latest episode of Vanderpump Rules, Sandoval shaded Katie as “tacky” for having her mom fight her battles as Teri attempted to talk sense into Raquel Leviss after her Mexico make-out with Tom Schwartz and after Katie was accused of being with other guys when they were living together. After the episode aired, Teri took aim at Sandoval in a tweet. Plus, Raquel, who is supposed to be receiving treatment in a mental health facility, was caught on Instagram Live.
“She was scheduled to go in pre-reunion but decided she wanted to finish her filming commitment,” a source told Entertainment Tonight last month. “Bravo and production were aware and supported her journey towards better mental health.”
But while Sandoval said weeks ago that Raquel did not have access to her phone as he insisted she is seeking treatment and not enjoying a spa, her account was listed as a viewer of an Instagram Live session Bravo hosted on Thursday.
Upon the release of the trailer for the Pump Rules season 10 reunion, Bravo and Cocktails on Instagram shared a screenshot that confirmed Raquel as one of the accounts who was watching.
“Rachel tuning [into] Bravo’s [Instagram] live… from rehab?” they asked.
Meanwhile, on Twitter, Katie’s mom reacted to a tweet shared by her brother, Joey Maloney, in regard to the latest episode of Pump Rules, specifically the antics of Sandoval and Raquel.
“This might be the only time I use the hashtag at the end here but had to speak up about these garbage humans,” Joey wrote. “You act tough and talk to my mom and my sister like that when you are on camera but you would never dare do that when your ego wasn’t being boosted. #PumpRules.”
“Thank you so much Joey for all your love and support!” Teri replied. “It was not shown in tonight’s episode, but you step in and defended me upon Sandoval’s vitriol attacks… not only one time, but [three] times!”
Following Wednesday’s Pump Rules episode, Katie appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she addressed Raquel’s disrespectful behavior toward her mother, including her childish “Oh my God” complaint.
“You don’t talk to my mom that way. You don’t roll your eyes at my mom,” Katie stated.
The Vanderpump Rules season 10 finale airs next Wednesday, May 17, at 9/8c on Bravo.
