Margaret Josephs is reportedly concerned about filming the upcoming 14th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey with Luis Ruelas.

With filming allegedly set to begin in mid-August, an insider claims Margaret, 56, who accused Luis, 49, of threatening her 27-year-old son at the reunion, “doesn’t feel safe” with Teresa Giudice‘s husband, who seemingly threatened her the last time she saw him, and is reportedly considering legal action.

“Margaret has made it clear that she does not feel safe filming around Luis,” a source close to production told The U.S. Sun on July 6. “She said that she was going to get her lawyers involved and had threatened not to film with Luis.”

“The cast is still very much divided, and there is still a lot of leftover tension from the reunion,” the insider noted.

As RHONJ fans will recall, Luis warned of the “dirt” he has on the cast at the reunion taping and claimed he hired a private investigator before later denying having done so.

“My family, my child, was called and threatened at work by Luis, and we have the phone records,” Margaret alleged on the June 6 episode of the RHONJ reunion. “My child would have no idea who this person is. It happened last week, April 13th, that’s his phone number.”

Although Teresa, 51, confirmed the number did belong to Luis, she also slammed Margaret as “a devil” and a “f-cking criminal” as Margaret fired back with claims of her own.

“You are gaslit every single day. He belittled you. He makes you look like an a–hole,” Margaret replied, adding that she never wanted to see Luis’ “f-cking shame of a face again.”

Also, during the reunion, Luis seemingly threatened Margaret.

“Be careful. I just told you to be careful because you’re lying,” he stated.

As for the upcoming season, there have been claims that Melissa Gorga is on the “chopping block,” which she’s denied, and other reports made about Teresa’s potential exit from the show, which she’s also slammed as false.

Still, according to The U.S. Sun, no official decisions have been made regarding the cast quite yet.

“No contracts have been signed,” the insider spilled. “The cast has been told they have the summer off.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 will likely premiere on Bravo sometime in 2024.
