Meredith Marks is in the midst of the drama in the just-released midseason trailer for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four.
As Heather Gay, 49, mentions a shocking “betrayal” and Monica Garcia storms off crying amid an island getaway for her birthday, Meredith, 51, suggests she might as well do what she’s been accused of doing all along (spreading rumors about Angie Katsanevas‘ husband, Shawn Trujillo) — and the Bravo series heads for a series high in the ratings.
According to an October 16 report from The Wrap with numbers from Nielson, viewing of RHOSLC on Peacock is up a whopping 134 percent from season three, averaging 1.9 million total viewers each week with 1.1 million in the key demo (ages 18 to 49).
The series has also gained an additional 225,000 viewers, up 13 percent from season three, including 195,000 in the key demo, which is a 20 percent increase from last season.
The outlet went on to say that the first four episodes of RHOSLC are currently the second most-watched on Peacock, trailing only Vanderpump Rules season 10, which saw the reveal of Tom Sandoval‘s shocking affair with Raquel Leviss, 28.
In addition, it was revealed that the premiere episode is the most-watched premiere of a Bravo show on Peacock among viewers and among the key demo.
As for the trailer, a number of tense moments are seen, starting with a storm-off by Monica.
“Monica! Monica! Why would she do this to you?” Lisa Barlow, 48, asks as Monica sobs, and viewers are met with a staunch Meredith.
“It gets to a point where you’re accused of something over and over again, you may as well do it,” she declares in a confessional, also asking, “Is that a threat?”
Elsewhere, Whitney Rose, 37, and Heather are once again at odds as Whitney takes aim at Heather’s book, Bad Mormon.
“You exploited my sexuality in your book,” Whitney tells Heather.
“Do you understand what you’re saying? Because you sound like an idiot,” Heather replies.
Then, as Mary Cosby, 50, tells Monica, “Don’t trust no one,” Heather is seen chatting with Meredith.
“I just got some information that is pretty devastating,” Heather shares.
She then tells Meredith in another scene, “It was a betrayal, Meredith. Tonight happened because of what you said to Monica.”
Later, as the group attempts to enjoy a nice dinner, Lisa asks Meredith, “What did you do?” Angie then warns, “Don’t f*cking talk about me!”
“I am not the one bringing the tornado,” Meredith tells Lisa as the clip concludes, giving a nod to “karma.”
