Mauricio Umansky Shares Update With Kyle, Talks Being Closer to Emma and If He’ll Watch Show as Kyle Reacts to Fans’ Halloween Looks, Plus RHOBH Debuts to Largest Audience Since 2020

Mauricio Umansky offered an update on his relationship with estranged wife Kyle Richards on Tuesday following his shocking elimination from Dancing With the Stars.

As Mauricio, 53, admitted to being closer to partner Emma Slater, 34, than her former partners in the dancing competition, Kyle, 54, reacted to fans dressing as her and her rumored girlfriend, Morgan Wade, 28, for Halloween. Plus, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills debuted its 13th season to the largest audience of any Real Housewives franchise since 2020.

According to a November 1 report from The Wrap, the October 25 episode of RHOBH premiered to 2.5 million total viewers, with 1.2 million in the key demo, which is viewers between the ages of 18 and 49.

This was up 7% in total viewers and 12% in key demo viewers from its season 12 premiere in May 2022.

As confirmed by Nielsen’s live-plus-three-day viewing figures, the episode also scored big on Peacock, where it became the most-watched Bravo next-day season premiere in both total viewers and key demo viewers.

One week after the season premiere, which saw tension between Mauricio and Kyle, Kyle surfaced on her Instagram Story, where she reshared a post of a couple of fans dressing as her and Morgan for Halloween.

With the post, Kyle included Morgan’s “Fall In Love With Me” single.

As RHOBH fans will recall, Kyle starred in the music video for the track as Morgan’s love interest as the two of them continued to deny romance rumors.

Just as Kyle was resharing the fans’ Halloween looks, Mauricio was giving his last dance on DWTS — and offering an update on their relationship.

“We both have been super busy and no changes since the last time I told you guys, we’re still talking and we’ll figure out where that journey goes. You never know,” Mauricio told Extra TV on October 31.

According to Mauricio, he’s not looking forward to RHOBH playing out and has no plans to tune in.

“I haven’t watched it yet. Look, I am not going to let any noise get into my head and just listen to it. I’m not watching,” he stated. “I haven’t watched it. I told Kyle last night I wasn’t watching it and I’m not going to watch it, and that’s the end of the story.”

While Mauricio confirmed he will not be watching the show, Emma explained why they felt a need to address dating rumors that surfaced after they were photographed holding hands during a dinner date in Beverly Hills.

“I think people run away with a narrative and we wanted to make sure we were heard. We are really great friends. There is nothing new to report. That’s why we did it. I also form really close bonds with all my partners,” she explained.

But Mauricio interjected.

“Not as close as me,” he noted.

“It’s a very close-contact sport,” Emma continued. “You help each other, you get to know each other. It’s a really supportive, beautiful environment.”

Also during the Extra TV interview, Mauricio admitted he was surprised to be sent home.

“I was a bit shocked… I’m not going to lie,” he shared.

Meanwhile, Emma added, “We do the best that we can… I have never been more sure that my partner is doing the best he can do.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
