Mercedes “MJ” Javid offered an update on her relationship with Mike Shouhed while hosting an “Ask Me Anything” session on her Instagram Story earlier this week.
Just under two years after Mike was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence against his former fiancee, Paulina Ben Cohen, potentially prompting the cancelation of Shahs of Sunset just days later, MJ, 51, reacted to a fan who wanted to know if she was mad at Mike, 45, while also confirming Shahs is currently available on Netflix, revealing who she’s still close to from the cast, and dishing on her TV return.
“Are you mad at Mike? Are you guys going to be on Netflix?” a fan wondered on December 18.
“WE ARE ON NETFLIX!” MJ shared, then adding, “I’m not mad [at] Mike.”
According to MJ, Mike is working on himself after striking a deal in the case brought against him.
“He’s building himself back up and [we’re] always there for [each other] if we needed [each other] — kinda,” she noted.
As for who she’s still close with from the Shahs cast, MJ told a curious fan that honor went to Shervin Roohparvar, 43.
“SHERVIN!!” she declared.
A third fan asked MJ, “When are we going to see you on TV again?”
“Yes. I’m going to be on [The Traitors] which airs soon on [Peacock],” she replied.
MJ followed in the footsteps of her Shahs co-star, Reza Farahan, 50, who appeared in the first season of the Peacock series, by filming its second installment earlier this year.
In addition to joining The Traitors, MJ could be featured on the upcoming second season of Netflix’s Buying Beverly Hills after landing a job with Mauricio Umansky at his real estate firm, The Agency, where the reality show is based.
The Traitors season two begins streaming on Friday, January 12, 2024, on Peacock.
