Angela Oakley confirmed that Shamea Morton sent her an order of cease and desist amid cheating rumors on social media on Tuesday.
As she also reacted to the statement Porsha Williams, 45, made against Shamea, 44, following their shocking allegations against one another’s mothers on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, and denied that she had bullied Shamea, Angela, 44, reacted to a fan who suggested that she had “no proof” and “no facts” about Shamea.
“I have an attorneys bill responding to a cease and desist,” Angela replied on X. “Do with that what you want.”
Earlier this season, Angela made a shocking allegation against Shamea, claiming she had heard that Shamea, who works as an in-game host for the Atlanta Hawks basketball team, had been sleeping with NBA players.
During a June interview with the Way Up with Angela Yee podcast in June, Shamea confirmed she had taken legal action against her RHOA co-star once the rumors started threatening her professional career.
“I’ve gotten a few people in the office asking me about it,” Shamea explained about Angela’s rumor. “And I don’t want to go into the details of it, but I’ve been forced to really pretty much send a cease and desist. Because unless you’re going to come forward with the actual names so we can talk about it, you’re just throwing out stuff.”
Angela also responded to Porsha’s tweet from earlier this week in which she claimed Shamea slept with her manager, a pastor, and others. Angela wrote, via Gibson Johns on Threads, “It’s still too early friend! I have a few more episodes before I feel ‘believed.’”
While Angela didn’t feel she’d gotten redemption yet in regard to claims made against Shamea, she did feel justified in her denial of having come between the two friends.
“At least we can bury I messed up their friendship … These feelings existed WAYYYYY before me, I know this because ‘people’ told me!” Angela declared.
In a third message, Angela reacted to someone who told her, “Y’all look like y’all bullying that girl. Just piling on!”
“I hate that you ignore the rocks she’s thrown,” Angela clapped back. “They’ve become invisible rocks and it looks like we’re responding to nothing.”
