During a new interview, Kyle addressed the ongoing tension between her and Lisa and confirmed she’s attempted to contact her former friend on a number of occasions to no avail.
“I have made an effort. Emails and text messages and, you know, I don’t know what else to do,” Kyle told Us Weekly on November 28. “As far as I’m concerned, the ball is in her court … I don’t want to get myself in trouble here.”
As for Lisa’s recent claims, which suggested Kyle and the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast snubbed her recent Vanderpump Dogs event, Kyle told the magazine she “wasn’t invited” to the gala.
“The other years I was invited, I received an invitation. I know she might have said that it’s a charity and you can just show up … but in the year’s past, we’ve been invited. I received an invitation, I went, I supported Vanderpump Dogs,” Kyle revealed.
Kyle then said she’ll “always support” Lisa’s organization and added that what she’s “doing with the Vanderpump Dogs and the foundation is amazing.”
“I love and respect her for that,” Kyle said.
While Kyle wasn’t invited to Lisa’s event, she added that two of her co-stars were.
“Two cast members were invited and the others weren’t,” she disclosed. “So if you’re not invited, you don’t want to show up where you’re not invited, where you don’t think you’re going to be welcome, you know?”
Previously, an insider told the magazine it was “bulls**t” for the women to say they weren’t invited.
“They iced out the gala and chose not to attend,” the source alleged.
Over the past couple of months, a lot has been said in regard to the feud between Kyle and Lisa but still, it’s unclear what exactly led to their dispute. Although some claim the restauranteur was ousted by her co-stars after a feud over a dog adopted by Dorit Kemsley, others say the tension began after Lisa was caught in a lie.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine will air sometime early next year on Bravo TV.
