Kathryn Dennis is questioning her ex Thomas Ravenel about his drug use and his alleged hiring of private investigators to tail her.
In recently shared court documents, Kathryn is firing back at Thomas’ claims about her own supposed drug use by requesting he answers questions under oath in regard to his own use of illegal substances and several other issues relating to their ongoing custody battle.
According to a January 16 report shared by The Blast, who obtained the documents, Kathryn wants to know how many private investigators Thomas hired amid their custody battle over four-year-old Kensington and three-year-old Saint Julien as she also wants a record of all of Thomas’ health and mental health diagnoses over the past 10 years.
Apparently, Kathryn is convinced her former boyfriend may be suffering from bipolar disorder and wants to know if he’s been prescribed any drugs or taken any illegal drugs in the past six years.
As Southern Charm fans may have heard, Thomas recently claimed in his own court documents that Kathryn was not only abusing prescription medication but also purchasing drugs from her show producers and her other friends.
“What date was it when you threw a party in your home downtown with illegal drugs present and you informed fellow party participants while standing in the bathroom that mushrooms don’t show up on drug screens?” Kathryn asked in her documents.
In addition to her questions about Thomas’ alleged drug use and the use of one or more private investigators, Kathryn wants a list of each and every woman who has accused her ex of assault or sexual assault and is also requesting information regarding a potential settlement he made with Debbie Perkins, who he allegedly sexually assaulted years ago, or her daughter, Ashley Perkins.
Oddly, another question Kathryn wants to be answered is whether or not Thomas has discussed tying the knot with his ex-girlfriend Ashley Jacobs.
In his response to Kathryn’s requests, Thomas is demanding a protective order in their case and declining her request to turn over many of the items listed. As he explained, some of the things Kathryn is requesting are only meant to “annoy, embarrass, oppress or create an unburden” on him.
Because Thomas believes Kathryn has no right to many of the items she’s requested, he’s asking that a judge deny her request, which also included past social media comments he’s made.
Kathryn and Thomas have been adhering to a 50/50 custody agreement for the past several months after Kathryn briefly lost custody of the kids due to her past struggles with drugs. However, in October of last year, just after Thomas was arrested on charges related to a sexual assault on their former nanny, Dawn, Kathryn filed for full custody of Kensington and Saint.
Amid his custody case with Kathryn, Thomas has filed a lawsuit against Bravo TV and their production team after learning scenes featuring Kathryn and his kids discussing their legal battle are set to air on the upcoming season of the show. In his suit, Thomas is requesting a judge prohibit the network from airing the footage.
Southern Charm season six is expected to air on Bravo TV sometime later this year.
