RHOBH's Kyle Richards Blames Twitter For Being Unable To Reconcile With Lisa Vanderpump

Kyle Richards is convinced that she and Lisa Vanderpump would have had a chance at reconciling amid The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season nine drama if it wasn’t for social media.

During an interview over the weekend, Kyle said that while she and Lisa did go through a rough patch during filming, they would have likely been able to work through their issues if they didn’t have to relive their feud months later with the opinions of their millions of fans on Twitter.

“The Twitter world just loves to take their gasoline and throw a match on it, which really hurts us, because we could maybe be getting better and then a lot of the cast will look and see what the Twitter universe is saying, and it gets us worked up again,” she explained to AOL. “Like, can you not contribute to this? We’re trying to fix things!”

According to Kyle, her feud with Lisa has become a hot topic for RHOBH fans on Twitter and while many members of their audience are hoping for a reconciliation between them, others are simply adding to their problems.

“People so want Lisa and I to be together and are so upset about it,” she said. “Lisa and I are having this argument and then you have people making it so much worse than it is. It seems so stupid, because we’re grown women. But we’re looking at Twitter, and it’s part of our jobs to promote and talk about the show … but it’s like, ‘Leave me alone!'”

Although Kyle and Lisa recently found themselves in the same place at the same time, their run-in did not end up with a reunion and was described by Kyle as “awkward.”

In addition to the many opinions of their fans, Kyle and Lisa have also fueled the drama between them with their own tweets and on Wednesday morning, after the latest episode of the show, Kyle looked back on their falling out.

“Yes. I told her 2 let her know about the conversation. Not 2 fight about it,” she tweeted, referring to the moment she told Lisa that their co-stars believed she leaked a negative story about Dorit Kemsley to Radar Online. “It became a fight that didn’t need 2 happen.”

Kyle went on say that while many of her co-stars believed Lisa was responsible for the story getting out, she also told her online audience that she and the rest of the cast wanted Lisa to return to film with them, and called Lisa’s decision to take a lie detector test on national tv “extreme.”

“We wanted her to come back into the group,” Kyle wrote. “Taking a lie detector test is extreme. We could have talked through it. Instead it blew up & [became] all about this.”
