RHOC's Tamra Judge Discuses How Shannon Beador Quit Answering Her and Vicki Gunvalson's Calls After They Left the Show, Explains Why She Was "Hurt" by Shannon Befriending Kelly and Confirms "Fake Friends" Post Was About Her

Tamra Judge‘s post about “fake friends” was aimed at her former bestie, Shannon Beador.

Weeks after the former Real Housewives of Orange County cast member caught the attention of her fans and followers on Instagram by suggesting Shannon ditched her after reconciling with Kelly Dodd, she’s opening up about the way in which Shannon quit answering her calls, and the calls of Vicki Gunvalson, when she needed her the most.

“It just hurt my feelings,” Tamra admitted to Entertainment Tonight of the moment she saw Shannon share a photo of herself and Kelly on Instagram. “She was always the one telling me last year, ‘Don’t hang out with Kelly.’ And then, all of a sudden, it’s like, she’s not returning my phone call. We talked every single day, multiple times a day.”

“As soon as we’re not on the show anymore, she just doesn’t have any time for us,” Tamra continued of herself and Vicki.

In Tamra’s opinion, she and Shannon were best friends. So, when it came to Shannon dropping her and Vicki after they announced their departures from RHOC earlier this year, after Bravo failed to offer them full-time roles, she was completely caught off-guard.

“I helped her through this divorce, I spent hours in the middle of the night answering phone calls and then, it came to a point where me and Vicki really went through some hard times… and I just kind of felt like I never got that, like, ‘How are you doing? How are you feeling?’ kind of thing,” she explained.

Although Tamra admitted that she and Shannon did eventually have an emotional conversation with one another after her exit from the show, during which she admitted to Shannon that she felt she lost her “best friend” and told her she needed her, she hasn’t heard from Shannon since.

“It just got to a point, when she posted that picture with Kelly, I just thought, I can’t watch this and I haven’t heard from her since,” she recalled. “I thought she was my best friend. So, it’s just hard. I just wanted that friend that I could sit there and cry on the phone with and it was just, I guess, I wasn’t important to her.”

Also during the interview, Tamra said that she hopes she and Vicki aren’t sent off from RHOC in the way Bethenny Frankel‘s exit was addressed on The Real Housewives of New York City. As fans saw earlier this month, Bethenny’s co-stars were seen reacting to the news of her exit before many of them acted as if they could care less that she would not be joining them for season 12.

“I hope they don’t do it like they did Bethenny,” Tamra shared. “It’s weird… We’ve been on this show 12, 14 years, and just not to have us? They can either just act like we don’t exist, or we are gonna get a million flashbacks of us, you know, looking like jerks and, like, Kelly and people going ‘Well, you know, nobody wanted to be around her.'”

Following their exits from RHOC, Tamra and Vicki are working on a new show that Tamra says has an “amazing concept.”

“We were about ready to meet with networks and everything got shut down because of the virus. So, we are on hold right now,” she explained.
