While looking back on the dramatic cast get-together during a recent interview, Kyle revealed why she was “so surprised” by her co-stars before explaining why she stormed off, sharing her biggest regret, and dishing on her sister Kim Richards‘ upcoming return.
“I was so surprised because… it felt like the entire group had decided to come at me,” Kyle explained during an appearance on People Now.
According to Kyle, several of her RHOBH co-stars agreed with her feelings regarding Dorit Kemsley‘s late arrival to Teddi Mellencamp‘s wellness retreat off-camera but acted differently toward her once cameras were rolling.
“I had [Erika Jayne] who agreed with me about the Dorit thing but she seemed like she was chiming in and Lisa Rinna and then Dorit and then when Denise said that, I was like, ‘You’ve never even liked or cared about glam. How are you defending this?'” Kyle recalled. “I didn’t understand why the people that off camera had agreed with me were all of the sudden all chiming in.”
“I was really not mentally and emotionally prepared for everyone coming out at me like that. So I lashed out and said some not nice things,” Kyle admitted.
She also stormed off from the dinner table and ultimately made an early exit from the event.
“I couldn’t handle one more thing,” she explained of her decision to leave. “I was really emotional and I was only home for 48 hours before I had to leave again for North Carolina [for filming on the Halloween reboot].”
“Denise is a beautiful girl and I didn’t mean it like that. I was just pertaining to the glam,” she explained.
Also during Denise’s dinner, Kyle felt Lisa wasn’t being genuine when she failed to acknowledge the way she’s had her back in recent years, even amid feuds with her sister Kim.
“I was like, ‘Why is everyone just coming up with stuff to come after me?’ That’s why I lashed out at Rinna,” Kyle said.
As for Kim’s role on RHOBH season 10, Kyle revealed Kim will be seen “quite a bit.”
“It’s great. We’re sisters and sometimes she can drive me crazy but no matter what I love her,” Kyle said. “I would always love for her to be a part of the show. Because she’s my sister and she’s in my life, there’s always that possibility.”
Kyle then expressed interest in continuing on with her acting career.
“I would love to be acting full-time. It’s my first love,” she confessed. “That’s what I enjoy the most and work-wise, that’s where I feel the most fulfilled.”
