In a couple of new posts shared on Instagram, Dorinda, who confirmed her exit from the Bravo reality series at the end of last month, has revealed that when it comes to her potential return, she “could be back,” and seemingly confirmed that her departure was not her decision.
“I will miss you terribly on the show. Not going to watch any longer as you were the only one I enjoyed,” a fan wrote to Dorinda in the comments section of one of her latest posts.
“I could be back you never know,” Dorinda replied to the fan, along with a pink hearts emoji.
In a second post shared on Instagram, Dorinda appeared to confirm that she was fired from RHONY by reacting to a meme that suggested there “were other Housewives more deserving of getting fired than Dorinda” and said The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Teddi Mellencamp should have gotten the boot.
“We volunteer Teddi,” the meme read.
After seeing the post, Dorinda didn’t deny she was fired but instead thanked the fan for sharing the post about others being more deserving.
“Omg thank you,” Dorinda wrote, along with a red heart emoji and a praying hands emoji.
Following the news of Dorinda’s exit from RHONY, a number of reports suggested she was fired from the show for being a “mean drunk” throughout the series’ 12th season. Then, days later, a rep for Bravo told Page Six that when it comes to Dorinda’s future with their series, her role is “on a pause” and “the door remains open.”
As fans may have seen, Dorinda also reacted to the possibility of a return after the Page Six report was shared.
“Page SIX said Bravo might be reconsidering their decision to let you go, I hope this is true!” a fan wrote to Dorinda at the time.
In response, Dorinda posted a praying hands emoji and a red heart emoji in her own message.
The Real Housewives of New York City season 12 reunion begins this Thursday, September 10, at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
