On Wednesday, September 30, after a rumor about a secretly separated West Coast Real Housewives cast member hit the web, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple took to their Instagram Stories to shut down speculation of a potentially impending split and confirm they are “still in love.”
“Where do people get this fake news?” Mauricio wrote in the caption of a photo of himself and Kyle that was later reposted by Kyle.
In Mauricio’s photo, he was seen holding up his phone, which featured a TMZ article about his and Kyle’s marriage and described their relationship as “rock solid.”
“Thanks [TMZ] for clarifying…still in love [by the way],” Mauricio added.
Kyle and Mauricio, who have been married since January 1996 and share three daughters, faced marriage rumors earlier this year after a source told Life & Style magazine that the RHOBH star was allegedly on “high alert” after her husband hired former Playboy model Kendra Wilkinson to work at his real estate firm, The Agency.
“Kyle’s always looking over her shoulder to make sure that the women aren’t flirting with Mauricio. Now he’s gone and hired one of the Girls Next Door!” the insider claimed.
However, after former Real Housewives of New York City star Jill Zarin expressed concern for her and Mauricio‘s relationship, Kyle set the record straight about their alleged marital strife on Watch What Happens Live.
“I just think that she was coming from… because there is that supposed jinx with marriages and the Housewives. But we’re going strong, almost 25 years married,” Kyle confirmed.
