RHOP's Candiace Dillard Bassett Says She "Absolutely" Takes Accountability for Her Role in Monique Samuels Fight But Slams Her "Barrage of Foolishness" and Claims She's a "Stunt Queen" for Conversation With Pastor, Plus Disses Ashley Darby's Single and Reacts to Robyn Dixon's Hat Line

Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Candiace Dillard-Bassett is taking accountability for her role in her caught-on-camera fight with her co-star Monique Samuels.

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Candiace spoke about her fight with Monique before slamming her as a “stunt queen” and reacting to Ashley Darby‘s single, “Coffee and Love,” and Robyn Dixon‘s hat line, Embellished.

“Do you take any accountability for your part in the altercation?” host Andy Cohen asked during the episode as he read a question from a fan.

“Absolutely,” Candiace replied. “I am accountable for my mouth because my mouth is fast. It’s smart. If you can’t handle it, you might lose your cool and try to fight somebody. Yes, for my mouth, I can be accountable.”

Although Candiace admitted she wasn’t completely innocent she also noted that she does not believe Monique is sorry for her role in their altercation.

“That was shot in November. She did 3,000 things after that, including writing me a song, bragging about what she did, bragging that she shut me up months ago on Twitter. It was just a barrage of foolishness that is not indicative of someone who is really, truly remorseful,” she explained.

Candiace also revealed that when it came to Monique’s chat with her pastor, the conversation was nothing more than “a stunt.”

“She’s a stunt queen. She deserves an Emmy,” Candiace stated.

During another segment of WWHL, Candiace played a game of “Spill the Positivi-Tea,” during which she was asked to say three positive things about her RHOP castmates.

“It’s all her own. It’s unique. And she loves it,” she said of Gizelle Bryant‘s style.

Then, when asked to say three nice things about Monique’s parrot, T’Challa, Candiace told Andy, “No I won’t.”

Moving on to her newest cast mate, Wendy Osefo, Candiace said she should not shut up about her extensive education “because she worked her butt off for those degrees, she lost her father while obtaining her degrees, and she had a womb full of children while obtaining her degrees.”

As for Ashley’s single, Candiace described her co-star’s song as “vomit” and a “travesty” before gushing over Robyn’s collection of hats.

“Her hat line is black girl magic because she cares about her edges. The inside of the hat is lined with satin, which I love. I love all of the different prints and patterns and they’re inexpensive,” she shared.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season five airs Sundays at 9 p.m. on Bravo.
