Ashley Darby and her husband Michael Darby welcomed their second child together earlier this month, and in a series of Instagram posts on Wednesday, the child made his official social media debut.
After teasing her fans and followers with images and videos of the back of the baby’s heads in the weeks since his arrival, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member shared stunning images taken by Sweet Me Photography as she confirmed her second son’s name, weight, and birth date.
“It is with the biggest, happiest and most grateful hearts we introduce our little angel, Dylan Matthew Darby. Born on 3/2/21 weighing 7.9 lbs, he has been the best addition to our little family,” Ashley wrote on March 24 with a collage of images of her son and their family.
Although Dylan is just three weeks old, the RHOP cast member said he’s already established an “incredible bond” with her and Michael‘s oldest child, son Dean.
“Dean loves being a big brother and covers the baby in kisses and hugs all the time,” she gushed. “It’s the most incredible bond to witness flourishing. Thank you for your well wishes and being patient as we settle into our new normal. This is even more amazing than I thought it’d be.”
With a second collage, which included an image of Dean and another of the child with his mommy, Ashley added, “I didn’t know my heart could hold this much love.”
Ashley first confirmed her pregnancy in September 2020, just one month after revealing her plans for baby number two with The Daily Dish.
“Seeing how wonderful Dean is and Michael is just such a hands-on dad. I would really have a football team if I could, but out of respect for my partner, you know, I’ll stick with two,” she said at the time. “Michael is very aware of his age and he wants to be around for as long as he can with his kids. So, we’re definitely trying to have our children back to back.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac season six is currently in production and will likely premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
