RHOSLC Star Jen Shah Talks "Extremely Difficult" Time After Arrest and Addresses Charges, Explains Instagram Posts as Meredith Denies Selling Jen Her Court Coat, Plus Jen is Banned From Drinking

Jen Shah recently explained why she continues to post on Instagram despite her March arrest and the serious allegations pending against her.

After being called out by a fanpage, the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member opened up about the “extremely difficult” time she’s in and addressed the charges she’s facing as Meredith Marks revealed if she sold Jen the coat she was seen wearing out of court and details were revealed about production on season two.

“I’m reposting the support from my friends to tell them thank you,” Jen wrote to the Two Judgey Girls, via a screenshot provided by Best of Bravo on Instagram.

“The allegations are not true and to only see negativity spewed is extremely difficult,” she continued. “Thank you for sending your love. I appreciate the support now more than ever.”

In another Instagram post, Meredith was seen reacting to a fan on Twitter who said they were told she was “not happy” after learning Jen had allegedly gotten arrested in a coat she had sold to her.

“I think there was a miscommunication. We did not sell that coat to Jen. I have no idea where it is from,” Meredith wrote in response, shutting down the false report, via a RHOSLC fanpage.

In other RHOSLC news, court documents obtained by Radar Online on April 5 revealed that while Jen is allowed to continue to film season two with her castmates, she will not be able to travel outside of Utah without permission. She is also banned from using drugs and alcohol in excess.

Jen was also ordered, as part of the conditions tied to the $1 million bond she was released on, to continue treatment at the Lion Rock facility, which provides online counseling for substance abuse.

According to the report, Jen is believed to have been at the “highest levels” of a years-long telemarketing scheme that targeted elderly folks, and she has been charged with crimes of money laundering and fraud.

She is facing a reported 30 years behind bars.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season two is expected to premiere on Bravo later this year or early next year.
