Lala Kent opened up about her 2020 falling out with her Vanderpump Rules castmate, Scheana Shay, during the latest episode of Lisa Vanderpump‘s E! series, Overserved.
While appearing alongside fellow guest Anna Camp at Lisa’s Beverly Hills home, Villa Rosa, Lala explained what triggered the end of her friendship with Scheana before sharing details about the last text message she sent to her co-star.
“What triggered it was I didn’t invite her to my gender reveal,” Lala revealed during the April 22 episode. “And when she started turning my gender reveal into a platform for her low-level podcast. Just, like, don’t make my gender reveal about you.”
In September, as Lala and Randall Emmett found out they were having a girl, Scheana, who later learned she too was expecting a girl, revealed on her podcast that she and her boyfriend Brock Davies were left off of Lala’s gender reveal guest list.
“I sent her a very long like ‘this is how I feel about you’ text,” Lala continued of her drama with Scheana.
Then, when Lisa asked Lala if she had heard back from Scheana in regard to the message she sent, Lala told her former boss that she had demanded Scheana not reply.
“I said, ‘Please do not respond. This is the last moment you are ever going to get from me.’ [And] I meant that,” Lala shared.

During a September episode of Scheananigans, Scheana told listeners that she and Brock weren’t invited to Lala’s gender reveal and that the snub “states pretty clear where our friendship stands.” She then accused Lala of failing to come through for her after she begged her to visit after suffering a miscarriage.
“I needed her and she wasn’t there because she had dinner with celebrities,” Scheana explained, noting that Lala had instead gone to dinner with Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly.
A short time later, Scheana further discussed the end of her friendship with Lala on the #NoFilter With Zack Peter podcast.
“I never see a friendship with her again. And I am completely fine with that,” Scheana explained. “Because honestly, for the last three years, I felt myself forcing a friendship with her.
According to Scheana, Lala was never a true friend to begin with.
“Every time she hurts me, she feels bad, she begs for my forgiveness — but, it’s usually when there’s a camera in her face — and I forgive her! And then she does it again. And at this point, I’m done. I’m checked out,” Scheana stated, adding, “I don’t have room for that type of fakeness in my life anymore.”
