RHONY Alum Bethenny Frankel Reveals Which Former Co-Stars She Keeps in Touch With and Explains Why She Never Goes Out

Bethenny Frankel keeps in touch with just two of her former co-stars on The Real Housewives of New York City.

Nearly two years after announcing her second departure from the series, Bethenny appeared on a talk show in Australia, where she dished on her relationships with her castmates before detailing her downtime with 11-year-old daughter Bryn Hoppy and fiancé Paul Bernon.

“I’ll text [Sonja Morgan] periodically and I talk to [Dorinda Medley],” Bethenny revealed on Fifi, Fev & Nick.

According to Bethenny, she and Dorinda spoke earlier that day about summer china.

“We couldn’t be more boring,” she admitted. “Everybody thinks we’re talking, sitting home talking about reality television. We talk about just mundane [things], [like] dating over 50, hormones, summer china, renovation, my daughter, her daughter, Mother’s Day, [and] the vaccine.”

“We’re funny when we’re on the phone but [it’s not] riveting,” she admitted.

When Bethenny, who’s currently starring on HBO Max’s The Big Shot With Bethenny, was then asked about how she unwinds from her busy schedule, she admitted it has gotten “more difficult” in recent years due to the fact that she doesn’t have a nanny.

“I used to walk on the beach during the summer which I’ll do again. So I can disconnect in that way and I do yoga but it’s hard sometimes to just say, ‘Let’s just lay down and a read a book,’ because I don’t have a nanny and I’m always with my daughter,” she explained. “We’re quarantine partners, before and after the quarantine.”

Bethenny also spends tons of time with Paul.

“It’s not easy to make everything fit which is why I never go out,” she added.

The Real Housewives of New York City season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo, and The Big Shot With Bethenny airs Thursdays on HBO Max.
