Erika Jayne is ready, willing, and able to cooperate with the ongoing bankruptcy proceedings against her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi.
After previously being accused of refusing to hand over key documents to prosecutors, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has seemingly changed her tune by submitting documents in which she confirmed her “full willingness to cooperate” and said she has “nothing to hide.”
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online on July 9, Erika has expressed a “full willingness to cooperate and produce” the requested documents to the court and maintained that she “has nothing to hide.”
At the end of last year, after Erika suddenly filed for divorce following more than two decades of marriage to the once-respected attorney, the two of them were accused of embezzling $2 million from orphans and widows of plane crash victims.
Then, after several other former clients of Thomas’ came forward, claiming they too were denied the settlement money he got them, he was forced into Chapter 7 bankruptcy.
In the months that followed, a trustee was put in charge of Thomas’ finances and the finances of his law firm, Girardi Keese, and began to sell off his assets to those he owes.
The trustee also put Thomas and Erika’s former marital home in Pasadena up for sale for $13 million before later dropping the price of the 10,000-square-foot pad to $11.5 million.
As the trustee attempts to pay back Thomas’ former clients, an investigation has been launched against Erika’s finances after the RHOBH cast member was accused of receiving $20 million in transfers from Thomas, seemingly in an effort to hide his assets.
Amid the drama, Erika’s new court documents have confirmed she is ready to submit all bank and financial records, and requested the lawyers involved not leak her documents to the public.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 11 airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
