Braunwyn Windham-Burke and estranged husband Sean Burke are denying claims made in a recent eviction lawsuit filed against them.

Weeks after the mother-of-seven was booted from her full-time role on The Real Housewives of Orange County, she and Sean are slamming rumors of owing $45,000 in unpaid rent as news of another lawsuit filed against Braunwyn is revealed.

“Sean and Braunwyn were surprised to find out about the unlawful detainer complaint through press, as they were not personally served. After consulting with legal counsel on this matter, they are doing everything they can to resolve it,” a rep for the estranged couple, who announced their separation on Monday, told Us Weekly on July 15.

As Braunwyn and Sean denied claims of unpaid rent, news of another lawsuit surfaced.

On July 15, Radar Online revealed Braunwyn, who has plans to move to Hawaii, was dragged into a separate lawsuit earlier this year after Sean crashed her car into the back of another vehicle that was being driven by Luis Ortiz.

According to court documents, Luis was driving on the Southbound I-5 freeway in Tustin, California, in January 2019 with Froylan Ortiz when an allegedly negligent Sean suddenly rear-ended their car and caused them “grave injuries.”

“As Plaintiffs’ vehicle came to complete stop due to traffic, their vehicle was rear-ended by Sean Burke. Following the impact, Plaintiffs were violently jarred and jolted around the interior of their” car resulting in “personal injuries and damages,” their complaint explained. The complaint also noted that they suffered loss of wages, loss of use of property, and accrued hospital/medical expenses.

Although Braunwyn and Sean never responded to the allegations in court, they were believed to have reached a settlement with Luis and Froylan in March as their case was dismissed.

The Real Housewives of Orange County season 16 is currently in production with returning cast member Heather Dubrow.
