Kathy Hilton is still working on her potential return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As rumors continue to swirl regarding Kathy’s alleged salary demands, she attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Women in Entertainment Gala at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles on Wednesday, where she admitted she’s “not been with the girls” for a number of recent events before confirming a return is still possible.

“I just got back so we’re trying to work things out,” Kathy told Entertainment Tonight on December 8, giving a nod to her daughter Paris Hilton‘s extended wedding festivities, which recently included a family trip.

“You know, it all depends on … right? … whatever is meant to be will be,” Hilton said.

Although a number of her RHOBH castmates, including her sister, Kyle Richards, have said they are hoping she’ll return, Kathy admitted last month that she wasn’t sure what the future would hold.

“You know, I don’t know what I’m doing tomorrow. I could be skiing off Mount Everest,” she joked to Entertainment Tonight.

One week later, while speaking to E! News, Kathy said that she had not yet joined production on season 12 because she was too busy with Paris’ wedding.

“The reason I’m not back yet is I’ve just been doing a wedding,” Kathy revealed. “Everybody speculates and all that, but I’ve been busy and haven’t had a chance to really focus and talk with my team and see, you know, what’s going on.”

In the same interview, Kathy confirmed that she “absolutely [loves] the show.”

“A lot of people will be on a show and then they’ll talk about it or they’ll badmouth it, [but] I loved all of the girls. I loved the crew in that season. I cannot make one complaint,” she noted.

Amid the speculation, TMZ shared a report in which they suggested Kathy hadn’t resumed filming because she was holding out for a salary raise. As the outlet explained, Kathy had allegedly been given an offer for season 12. But because she didn’t feel that the offer was high enough, she refused to sign on to begin production.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 12 will begin airing on Bravo sometime in 2022.
