RHONJ's Melissa Gorga Reacts to Luis' "Aggressive" Behavior to Margaret, Slams Teresa's "Double Standard," and Says "People Get Fired" for Acting Like Jennifer

Melissa Gorga believes Luis Ruelas was acting aggressively toward Margaret Josephs during the latest episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

While appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night, Melissa looked back on Luis’ confrontation with Margaret, who raised questions about his warrior camp video, before admitting that Teresa Giudice has a “double standard” and defending her fight with Jennifer Aydin.

“I think he was a little aggressive but he was very wound up. Teresa had him thinking Margaret was the worst human at that moment so he just was ready to attack,” Melissa explained on the March 1 episode of WWHL, adding that while the cast should be able to ask questions, Margaret may have pushed it “it too far” and “made Teresa crazy.”

When Andy Cohen then asked if she felt Teresa’s gossip standards were hypocritical, especially considering her actions against Evan Goldschneider, who she spotlighted for potentially cheating on Jackie Goldschneider last year, Melissa noted that Teresa is “known for a double standard.”

Melissa also said she doesn’t think it’s a good idea for Teresa to forgo a prenup as she prepares to marry Luis — even though she doesn’t have one with Joe Gorga.

“I think she’s had to work really hard to be where she is and I think he actually has his own money. So I think it’s probably better that they do but it’s none of my business,” Melissa stated. “In our family, we don’t really do that. I’ll say that.”

During Tuesday’s RHONJ, fans watched as Melissa ran to her castmates about a text message she received from Teresa, in which her sister-in-law requested she have Luis’ back.

“I was basically saying, ‘Guys, she doesn’t want us talking about Luis tonight.’ … Like, ‘Don’t go in there with the cameras and all talk about Luis,’” she explained, noting that it wasn’t a betrayal as “Gia and Gabriella and Teresa and all of his nieces [were seen] reading all of his text messages” during an earlier episode of season 12.

“What’s the difference?” she wondered.

In addition to starring alongside Teresa on RHONJ, Melissa was recently seen with Teresa on Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, and she was “annoyed” to learn what she said about the RHONJ cast not having her back.

“I kick people out of my parties for her, we’ve lost friends for her, we were the last man standing with her always with her, her children when she went away. We’ve been here for a really long time and I think sometimes people forget that.”

As for her fight with Jennifer, Melissa was forced to defend herself against Andy, who pointed out that she had “charged” her co-star.

“I wasn’t really charging her. She wasn’t listening to me,” Melissa explained.

Then, when Andy noted that her behavior “wasn’t good,” Melissa asked, “Was it good that she put her hands on me, though?”

“People get fired around here for that,” she added.

Joe also weighed in on the situation, telling Andy, “When you talk about her husband, she’ll slice you.”
