Margaret Josephs is sharing the reason she believes Teresa Giudice snapped at her in Nashville amid their battle over the swirling rumors regarding the supposedly troubled past of Teresa’s now-fiancé, Luis Ruelas.
After the ladies were seen nearly coming to blows over a cast dinner on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, during which Teresa dumped drinks on Margaret and slammed her as “white trash,” Margaret explained why she believes Teresa got so “aggressive” as Teresa fired back by labeling her as “vile.”
“[The] entire table, she sweeps her entire hand across and dumps everything on top of me. She… [was] upset about all these things about Luis,” Margaret shared on the April 12 episode of RHONJ: After Show.
While Teresa is convinced that the negative stories that have been shared about Luis are the result of Margaret’s alleged communication with bloggers, Margaret has denied any such thing.
“She thinks all this stuff is coming out, she accuses me again of talking to bloggers. When she’s stumped and doesn’t know what else to say she just reacts and it was very aggressive,” Margaret noted. “Everything on the table went on top of us.”
“I can’t help that public opinion… And it’s true. Public opinion across the internet is not the best,” she continued, noting that the cast “was rooting for him” amid the speculation regarding his potentially violent past.
Meanwhile, after defending Luis, saying he’s “new at this” and doesn’t “understand,” Teresa admitted to being upset with herself for getting so upset.
“I’m mad at myself for even getting to that place because I kept my cool all season. I didn’t want to get to that place. But I’m sorry… I just couldn’t help it,” she explained, taking aim at Margaret. “[Margaret] was relentless. She’s a disgusting person. She really is. Her actions are disgusting. She’s a vile human being.”
“Margaret, she interacts with these bloggers because she wants to try to get them on her side,” Teresa added.
In addition to Margaret denying claims of having spoken to blogs about Luis, Jackie Goldschneider was less than convinced and felt Teresa was using the excuse to avoid the potential truth.
“I think it’s easy for her to say, ‘This is just Margaret trying to cause problems for Luis’ so that it seems like there’s no truth to anything. And I’m not saying there is truth to it but she’s trying to invalidate everything by just blaming Margaret,” Jackie shared.
Also on the After Show, Margaret’s husband, Joe Benigno, spoke out on her behalf.
“Marge does not leak anything. She’s pretty close-lipped and she doesn’t ever forget anything. But she doesn’t leak anything,” he insisted. “If she wants to go and say something, well, you get her mad enough, she’s going to say it right to your face. She’s not going to go and do it behind your back telling all these little boy bloggers.”
