Vanderpump Rules may have just begun filming its 10th season on Wednesday, but already, Charli Burnett and Scheana Shay have seemingly picked up right where they left off after season nine.
Months after the ladies were seen feuding over their relationships with Lala Kent and the type of friend they needed one another to be, Charli confirmed that the two of them are still at odds when she shadily reacted to a fan who labeled her a Scheana “[wannabe].”
“What’s there to wish to be babe? Sad?” Charli replied, via Reddit, about her former friend, who is planning to wed fiancé Brock Davies later this year after welcoming her first child with him in April 2021.
Charli also seemingly targeted Scheana on Twitter after confirming she was returning to Pump Rules for season 10.
“[I’m] back baby!!! Season 10 of [Pump Rules] lets goooo,” Charli declared on Twitter, via Reddit, on July 14.
Then, in a second tweet, Charli suggested that she didn’t need to remain friendly with Scheana in order to be asked back to the show.
“Guess I didn’t need to be a certain friend for a season contract… Weirddddd lmao,” she tweeted.
Although it’s hard to say for sure whether Charli was referring to her season-long friend, a number of Reddit users weighed in. Some of them agreed that the message was in reference to Scheana, and others thought Charli was talking about something else.
“I think she is shading the people who tell her she’s only on the show because she’s friends with [Raquel Leviss] and Scheana,” one person suspected.
“Ohhh damn Charli PLEASE gurl I swear you’d better bring the shade to [Scheana] this season…! My only hope is you! And I need some more of that drunken messiness from last season!” said another.
A third person, meanwhile, added that they didn’t want to see Charli and Scheana at odds.
“[I’m] just not into her being a feud with Scheana honestly. I’d rather her go neck to neck with Lala. Someone who can bring the same energy,” they explained.
Vanderpump Rules season 10 is expected to begin airing on Bravo later this year or early next year.
