Luis Ruelas shared a couple of telling posts on his Instagram feed amid his and Teresa Giudice‘s feud with the Gorgas.
Just under two weeks after Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga skipped his wedding to the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, Luis, who was allegedly involved in an altercation with Joe prior to the event due to an alleged cheating rumor against Melissa, posted messages about forgiveness and having “peace of mind.”
“Weak people revenge. Strong people forgive. Intelligent people ignore,” his first message, shared on August 19, stated.
“Wealthiest thing to have right now is a peace of mind,” read his second.
Luis’ Instagram posts come just days after Teresa first addressed the Gorgas’ absence at their wedding.
“I found out a few days before my wedding that they weren’t coming. I’m totally fine with it. You’ll see it play out on TV,” she said on Namaste B$tches on Wednesday. “The way that everything played out with my wedding, everything that happened is the way it was supposed to be. I’m all about that. I’m all about good energy and whoever wanted to be at my wedding was there.”
As RHONJ fans may have heard, things allegedly got physical between Luis and Joe after Teresa was blamed for spreading the rumor about Melissa.
“Joe charged at Luis during filming after long-simmering tensions came to a head,” an insider told The Sun on August 8. “Luis was upset that [Joe’s wife] Melissa unfairly blamed Teresa for spreading rumors about her marriage. But Teresa and Luis only talked to Joe about these rumors off camera to protect them.”
Still, despite the report, Luis said the Gorgas “were missed” amid his and Teresa’s wedding as he shot down a rumor suggesting he and Teresa billed the couple for their wedding meals.
“We would never in a million years ask for money from Joe and Melissa – we are not petty,” Luis wrote. “Joe and Melissa were missed.”
