Andy Cohen may want to reconsider waiting until early 2023 to get cameras rolling on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As the ladies of the show enjoy their months-long hiatus, attorney Ronald Richards has revealed some shocking allegation about Erika Jayne — and the $750,000 earrings she was believed to have turned over to Thomas Girardi‘s bankruptcy trustee months ago.

“Breaking: We can safely report that the earrings that Erika Girardi gave to the Trustee are NOT the same earrings on the sales invoice aka as the replacement earrings purchased through a tax fraud by Tom Girardi where he falsely claimed the $750k check was a court cost,” Ronald alleged via Twitter on November 23.

This claim comes just days after TMZ reported that the $750,000 earrings were estimated at a much lower value, and were only expected to fetch between $250,000 and $350,000 during the upcoming auction.

According to Ronald, there have been a number of inconsistencies in regard to the apparent burglary that occurred years ago, during which Erika and her estranged spouse claimed the original pair of earrings he purchased for the RHOBH star were taken.

“Here are the facts,” Ronald continued. “1. Erika claims under oath she had a burglary in 2006. 2. Tom claims to the franchise tax board it was 2007. 3. Erika claims Tom bought her replacement earrings in 2007 under oath. 4. The jeweler confirms this under oath. His invoice lists two 2004 GIA certificates tied to the earrings he sold.”

Ronald went on to further confirm that the earrings Erika turned over were not the same ones described in the invoice.

“5. The earrings Erika ultimately turned over the Trustee are NOT the same earrings on the invoice. 6. The GIA certificates that were ordered in 2022 show they are not the same diamonds. Erika, please explain what happened,” he continued. “I am sure there this a good explanation.”

In a fourth tweet, Ronald said more would soon be shared.

“Receipts will be posted later today. We tried to dumb this down as you always request so we are holding off on the receipts until we get a consensus everyone understands. Ask any questions you need to,” he wrote.

Later, Ronald posted “receipts” regarding the earrings saga. “Here are the receipts for the earring issue. I will be on air now answering questions about it,” he wrote.

When a Twitter user suggested that perhaps Erika simply mixed up the earrings because they looked similar, Ronald responded: “That is one theory for sure!!!”

As RHOBH fans well know, Erika faced pressure to turn in the earrings from a number of different sources, including castmate Garcelle Beauvais, who spoke out against her on The Real, and actor Jon Hamm, who said she should give the earrings to the trustee during an appearance on The Howard Stern Show.

“Yes! She should… The circular argument that she does… It’s not responsible,” Jon proclaimed. “You just want to shake her and go, ‘Honey, they were never yours. Give them back.’”

Around the same time, actress Jennifer Lawrence said during an interview with Variety that Erika was nothing short of “evil.”

“My biggest problem with this season [is] that it’s just been boring, and I think that Erika is evil,” Jennifer explained. “I would go as far as to say um, she needs a publicist, like ASAP.”
