Gizelle Bryant is facing major backlash on Instagram from the Real Housewives of Potomac viewers who believe she and Robyn Dixon showcased some highly hypocritical behavior on Sunday night’s episode of the show.
After both women sided with Mia Thornton, who threw a glass of water at Wendy Osefo amid an argument over Wendy’s potential beef with Peter Thomas and expressed sheer terror at Wendy’s less violent antics, many fans called for Gizelle and Robyn to be fired, reminding Gizelle on her Instagram page that they were absolutely disgusted by the violence Monique Samuels exhibited against Candiace Dillard-Bassett amid season five.
“Gizelle Bryant is getting slammed in her comments section on Instagram after last night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac!” the Real Housewives Zone on Instagram told their followers on November 22, along with a video featuring several comments from viewers.
“You, Mia, [and] Robyn got to go,” one person wrote to Gizelle.
“Tonight’s episode definitely gave ‘Mean Girls.’ You, Robyn, and Mia were wrong. This episode was messy and far from Women Empowerment,” another agreed.
And, while some mentioned the “hypocrisy in this episode,” and noted Gizelle and Robyn’s past statements against Monique, others poked fun at their supposed fear of Wendy.
“You gonna get security this time around or nah? Or nah because you cool with what happened with Wendy? Just curious. Tonight was crazy,” someone stated.
“I expect you to have security on the next episode. I’m sure you are terrified… RIGHT????” another asked.
“And another thing!!!!!!” a different fan continued. “[Who the f-ck] are you to tell [Karen Huger] to pick a side? Grown women don’t take sides we call people on their bullsh-t and keep it moving so therefore no side needs to be taken.”
Someone else suggested it was jealousy that led Gizelle to feel so strongly against Wendy, writing, “[Gizelle despises] Wendy [because] she actually has a job outside of the [Housewives] franchise, she is well-spoken, educated, [and] has a husband.”
Meanwhile, on Wendy’s Instagram page, she shared a message of thanks after receiving “love” and “support” from her fans and followers.
“Words cannot even begin to describe how grateful I am for the outpouring of love, support, and kind words of affirmation I have received over the past 24 hours,” she wrote after Sunday’s episode of RHOP. “Always keep your head high and your crown straight. Sending you all my deepest gratitude and biggest hug!”
The Real Housewives of Potomac season seven airs on Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
