RHONJ's Melissa Gorga Reacts After Joe is Accused of Losing Parents' Home, Claims They Bought the House for His Late Mom and Dad

Melissa Gorga is speaking out against claims suggesting her husband, Joe Gorga, lost his parents’ home.

After coming across a recent report on Instagram, the Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member took to the comments section of a post in which it was mentioned and said that not only did they not lose the house, they actually purchased the home where the late Giacinto Gorga and Antonia Gorga once resided.

“We bought them their house. The lies lately are next level. We are sitting back and watching the parade,” Melissa told an Instagram user who begged for the controversial report to be brought up, via the All Things Bravo Reality TV group on Facebook.

RHONJ Melissa Gorga Responds to Rumor Claiming Joe Lost Parents' House

Melissa’s post seemed to come in response to a video shared by a woman on TikTok, who said that before Melissa and Joe were on RHONJ, Joe mortgaged his parents’ home for his business “or something” and lost the money, which caused Giacinto and Antonia to lose their house. Then, while noting that the information was “all alleged,” the woman suggested that the loss of the home resulted in the late couple moving in with their daughter, Teresa Giudice, and in Joe getting on the bad side of Teresa’s then-husband, Joe Giudice.

Also in the video, it was noted that if the rumor was true, it was extremely odd that Teresa hadn’t yet mentioned it, especially considering she has been in a messy, public feud with the Gorgas for the past several months.

As RHONJ fans may recall, claims of Joe Gorga potentially losing his late parents’ home were first made by Joe Giudice during an interview with Celebuzz in April 2021.

“He took money from his dad. The parents lost their home because of Joe Gorga and had [to] rent… The parents lost everything because of Joe Gorga,” Joe Giudice alleged.

Then, nearly one year later, a post shared on Lipstick Alley further detailed the allegations.

“[Joe Gorga] took out loans from different banks by using his parents’ home as collateral. Joe defaulted on the loans and his parents lost their home (which had been paid off and where the parents had been living happily in retirement),” the message explained.

The post also said that between 2006 and 2007, Giacinto sold the home for $1 to himself and Joe — and the witness on the sale was none other than Frank Catania.

“This house had only been owned by Tre’s parents and then from 2006 Joe’s name was on the deed,” the post went on, adding that Giacinto and Antonia “had no mortgages” while their son “had tons of mortgages from different lenders.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is expected to begin airing on Bravo in early 2023.
