Kyle Richards didn’t take too kindly to Lisa Vanderpump‘s “ding dong” tweet, which the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member appeared to share in response to the news of Lisa Rinna‘s departure from the series on Thursday.

Although Kyle didn’t clap back at her ex-co-star directly, she “liked” a post from a Twitter user who shaded the successful restauranteur and Vanderpump Rules star for seemingly weighing in on Rinna’s exit while ignoring the December 2022 death of her fellow Brit, designer Vivienne Westwood.

“Why didn’t you comment about Vivienne Westwood and have to comment on this?” read Kyle’s “liked” message.

On Thursday, following eight seasons with the Bravo reality series, Rinna shared a statement with PEOPLE, confirming that after season 12, she looked at other options, business obligations, and acting opportunities before coming to a mutual agreement with the network that it was best for her to move on.

“This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series,” Rinna shared. “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

And while Kyle has not yet commented on Rinna’s exit from the series, she did share a cryptic post with her fans and followers on her Instagram Story shortly after the casting news was made public.

“An apology without change is just manipulation,” her message stated.

RHOBH Kyle Richards May Have Shaded Lisa Rinna as a Manipulator

Kyle’s message, of course, wasn’t directed to anyone in particular. But the timing was certainly suspicious. Could she have been giving a nod to Rinna’s season 12 feud with her sister, Kathy Hilton, which came just seasons after her drama with Kim Richards?

As RHOBH fans will recall, Rinna went after Kim on a number of occasions in past seasons despite her close friendship with Kyle, mentioning her alcoholism and time behind bars. Then, in season 12, Rinna accused Kathy of threatening to destroy Kyle’s family as her bestie, Erika Jayne, slammed Kathy for allegedly using a gay slur at an Aspen club, which Kathy denied.

Although the season 13 cast of RHOBH has not yet been confirmed, a recent report suggested Kyle and Erika, as well as Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, and Dorit Kemsley, are expected to return. The report also noted that Kathy was being “wishy-washy” about reprising her role.

As for Diana Jenkins, she is not expected to be back, and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s future is unknown.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to begin filming later this month.
