REPORT: RHOSLC "Put on Pause," Facing "Casting Shakeup" or Cancelation, See How Lisa Barlow Responded After Being Deemed the "Only One Who's Safe"

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City has reportedly been “put on pause.”

With Jen Shah presumably heading to prison prior to the potential start of production, and likely remaining there for at least five years, a new report claims the Bravo reality series could be getting a “major casting shakeup.” Or, it may follow in the footsteps of The Real Housewives of Dallas, which was canceled indefinitely in August 2021.

“After a whole season with practically no storylines (and an even worse reunion that hasn’t aired yet) execs seem to be scrambling with the [RHOSLC] housewives. None of the women have received deals for a [fourth] season which was supposed to start filming this month, and has now been pushed to ‘probably February’ with no specific date,” an insider told Deux Moi on Instagram.

“One producer claims Lisa Barlow is the only one who’s safe but she’s very difficult to cast around,” the source continued “Seems like a major casting shakeup or a [RHOD]-style ‘no plans to bring it back‘ announcement is imminent.”

RHOSLC Reportedly on Pause, Facing Cancelation

And while there has been no news from Bravo in regard to whether or not this report is true, or when filming on a possible fourth season would begin, Lisa actually reshared the claims on her own Instagram Story, along with a message from a fan who called for a spinoff.

“Give [Lisa Barlow] her own damn show and cast around her [Andy Cohen]! She’s the only one worth watching,” they wrote.

While Bravo has remained silent in regard to Jen’s future on the show, Andy has spoken about the topic a number of times, sharing at BravoCon last October that the RHOSLC cast member’s guilty plea in July was “kind of, unfortunately, the end of, you know, the engagement there.”

“But I hope to sit down with her and talk to her at some point on camera because I have a lot of questions for her,” he added.

Then, after Jen appeared to shade Andy for his suggestion that she had been fired by seemingly agreeing with a fan who suggested it was hypocritical of Andy to allow Teresa Giudice, who spent time behind bars for fraud, to remain on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Andy told Us Weekly that he didn’t have an answer for Jen’s fans.

“I hope that she gets no jail time whatsoever and she can come right back … but I have a feeling that she’s not going to be available to be on the show,” he explained. “Some people on Twitter were saying, ‘We want Jen next season.’ And I’m like, ‘OK, well, talk to the judge.’”
