Heather Gay isn’t happy with the way her black eye storyline played out on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season three.

While appearing at a book event earlier this week, in addition to confirming Mary Cosby‘s rumored return, Heather took aim at Bravo, claiming they withheld footage of the incident after an attendee asked her if there was an edit that “really pissed [her] off.”

The black eye edit, you guys, that was so messy and so weird, and so much was happening outside the scenes that just didn’t track, and it was stupid,” Heather, 40, told the fan in a TikTok video.

“I blacked out!” she added. “But there was cameras everywhere, and they should have footage of it, and I don’t know why they’re not showing it.”

After playing coy about her injury for the majority of the third season, convincing some that Jen Shah may have attacked her, Heather revealed at the reunion that she didn’t immediately admit she didn’t know what happened because she was “scared” her co-stars would “rewrite the narrative.”

“When production came into my room, I told them, I said, ‘I have no idea, I have no memory,’” she recalled. “And then it spun out of control after that, and I take full responsibility, and I’m really sorry.”

Also at the book event, a fan asked Heather if Mary, 50, was coming back to RHOSLC for season four.

“Is Mary Cosby coming back?” the fan asked.

“Yes,” Heather replied, as seen in a video shared on TikTok.

Last month, as filming began on RHOSLC season four, it was alleged that Mary was returning to the series after taking season three off to process ex-castmate Jennie Nguyen‘s racism scandal, which resulted in her January 2022 firing.

“Mary wanted to come back,” a source told Page Six at the time.

According to the insider, Mary suffered from “a lot of trauma” after season two, which concluded around the time Jennie’s offensive Facebook posts, which mocked the Black Lives Matter movement and equality protests, were uncovered.

“Jennie’s racist posts really seemed to shake Mary, especially after Jennie threw a glass at her on camera,” the insider shared. “Mary was grateful for the time away from the cameras, but she seems ready to get back in the mix.”

The report went on to say that Mary will return to the show alongside her friend Meredith Marks.

“They’ve reestablished a connection over the past year and have been texting and talking more in recent months,” the source revealed.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four is currently in production and expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
