Melissa Gorga took to her Instagram account last week to confirm which college daughter Antonia Gorga will attend.
Just as the Real Housewives of New Jersey star shared the exciting news, along with before and after photos of her oldest child’s bedroom, which she decorated in her school’s colors, Antonia’s cousin, Gia Giudice, completed her own college career.
On Sunday, May 14, Gia shared a series of photos and videos on her Instagram Story in which she revealed she has graduated from Rutgers University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
After posting a video of herself moving the tassel of her graduation cap from the right to the left and a photo of herself holding the cap after the ceremony, Gia posted pictures with mom Teresa Giudice and sister Audriana Giudice.
“Happy Mother’s Day to my rock. I love you more than this world. You are so amazing in every which way! Thank you for celebrating me on your day,” Gia wrote in the caption of a photo of herself and the RHONJ cast member.
And in a message written to Gia, Audriana said, “Congratulations to my beautiful sister. I am so so proud of you. I look up to you everyday. I love you.”
“I love you,” Gia replied.
According to Bravo, Gia hopes to have a career in law and will begin that career by interning at Martinez Immigration, a virtual law firm, after being inspired by her family’s legal drama.
“After I graduate, I am pursuing my dream of going to law school,” Gia told the network. “My hope for the future is to become a very successful lawyer and have a lucrative clothing business on the side.”
Amid Gia’s many posts, her dad, Joe Giudice, who was not in attendance, shared one of her selfies on his account.
“Congratulations Gia love you so much so proud of you sky is the limit,” Joe wrote on May 14.
In other RHONJ news, Antonia recently took to her Instagram Story to shut down claims of her Porsche, which mom Melissa and dad Joe Gorga got her for her 17th birthday, being repossessed.
“Antonia Gorga Posts Photo in Porsche to Shut Down Rumors Her Car Was Repossessed,” All About the Real Housewives captioned an Instagram post shared on May 11.
“My car is still here lol…” Antonia had written, tagging both of her parents.
As for Antonia’s upcoming college entry, she’ll be starting her college career at the University of Delaware this fall.
“And just like that… SHE CHOSE [University of Delaware],” Melissa wrote in the caption of her May 11 announcement on Instagram. “I’m so proud of you [Antonia Gorga]! I’m having so many emotions right now! I am smiling, I am proud, I am crying. I am a hot mess!! Can’t wait for you to start this new chapter of your life.”
In a couple of Instagram Stories, Melissa showed off her daughter’s bedroom, before and after it was decorated with the University of Delaware’s blue and yellow scheme.
“She chose [University of Delaware]!!!” Melissa wrote in the caption of one of her pics.
As Antonia prepares to further her education at the University of Delaware, her cousin, Gabriella Giudice, is headed to Michigan to attend the University of Michigan.
