James Kennedy addressed his hookup with Lala Kent and Raquel Leviss‘ reaction to it on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live

Before his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, revealed if she trusts him after learning of the tryst, the Vanderpump Rules star shared where his and Lala’s rendezvous went down, responded to Raquel’s comments to Lisa Vanderpump, and admitted to feeling good about Randall Emmett being exposed by the L.A. Times.

“It was a hotel room … six years ago,” James confirmed of his and Lala’s hookup on the February 22 episode of WWHL.

During Wednesday’s Pump Rules, James sat down with Raquel to discuss the matter due to the overlap it had with their own, five-year relationship. And looking back, James said he could’ve “of course” been nicer to his ex amid their chat.

“I think there’s always room for me to be nicer. It was the day I was seeing Graham Cracker again for the first time in six months and I think that was part of the reason why I was a little bit intense that day,” he explained. “But yeah, I definitely think I could’ve been nicer.”

As for Raquel breaking down to Lisa and stating that she still has love for James, James denied feeling that his ex was still “in love” with him.

“Raquel is in a place where she’s definitely finding herself and figuring out all of the friendships and relationships around the show and I think she broke down and said she still has love for me but I don’t think that means like, in love,” he said.

Then, when asked why Tom Schwartz sympathized with Randall even after the L.A. Times article, in which he was accused of having women perform sexual favors for roles in his films, which he denied, James claimed he feels vindicated — especially since he didn’t like Randall to begin with.

“I don’t understand Schwartz and Randall’s relationship … I didn’t really understand everybody’s relationship with Randall,” he admitted. “But now that it’s come to this, like, I mean, it feels so good I can’t even comment on it.”

Although James does feel bad for Lala, he recalled being one of the few who didn’t immediately hop aboard the Randall train when Lala began dating him in 2016.

“It was honestly so intense, I don’t really mind on how it made me look … I didn’t like him forever but everyone made me love him but then guess what? He’s a troll so yeah, I feel good about the whole situation,” he explained.

Throughout the episode, James’ girlfriend was seen in the front row. And at one point, host Andy Cohen questioned her about whether she trusts James after learning he cheated on Raquel with Lala.

“I’m not gonna lie. At first, it definitely did,” she confessed. “I didn’t enjoy hearing the news but we worked through that. We’ve come a long way and I do trust him.”

James was then questioned about Scheana Shay‘s meddling in Tom and Katie Maloney‘s divorce.

“Scheana doesn’t really mess with Katie, she doesn’t like her very much so anything to kind of push her buttons is gonna like, make her feel good,” he noted. “Oh, like all of the sudden Schwartz is the center of her universe? That’s the thing with Scheana, I feel like she’s good at putting people center of her universe — when she wants.”

While James was critical of Scheana’s antics with Tom, he said he admires her relationship with husband Brock Davies.

“[I admire that] that they’re each other’s rock and how much they love family,” he shared.

Later, on the WWHL: After Show, James told Andy he is “absolutely” different in his 30s than he was in his 20s before outlining his growth.

“I don’t binge-drink half as much as I used to. I don’t cheat on girlfriends anymore. I don’t do that. And I’m about to sell my bloody i8 for a f-cking Escalade. I’m getting an SUV now. I’m like, daddy James,” he declared.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
