Jenelle Evans and David Eason are attempting to get their kids back after David shot their family dog but ahead of one of their latest court appearances, they seemed to make a questionable decision by arriving at the courthouse with a gun.
According to a report, the fired Teen Mom 2 stars appeared to have a gun on their dashboard when they arrived to court on Thursday to fight a judge’s order to have three of their children removed from their North Carolina home.
On May 18, TMZ shared video footage of Jenelle and David leaving the courthouse on May 16 without their kids with what “greatly [resembled] a firearm.” The outlet also reminded readers that David has been quite open about his love of guns and recently showed off his arsenal on Instagram after being visited by the Secret Service.

While David may have a carrying permit, bringing a gun to court may not have been the best idea. After all, he’s currently being investigated for murdering his French bulldog after the animal nipped at his two-year-old Ensley.
In other Jenelle Evans news, the former reality star recently faced criticism from fans online after sharing a photo of her son Kaiser, who was taken from her care nearly two weeks ago.
“Guess who’s graduating from Pre-K soon?! 👦🏼💓 #Melting #LittleMan #MommasBoy,” Jenelle captioned the pic.
Because Jenelle doesn’t actually have custody at the moment, due to the ongoing investigation into her husband, many of her fans and followers mocked her caption.
“Guess who isn’t trapped on ‘the land’ anymore??” one person asked.
“Guess who doesn’t have custody?” asked another.
“#mommasboy??” a third fan wondered. “You don’t even have custody of him lol.”
“Yay! Kaiser’s dad and step mom will have fun at the graduation while u can’t attend,” someone else said.
Several other followers of Jenelle slammed her for choosing David over her kids.
“Choosing a man over your kids wow. Get it together. Your kids are going to grow up hating you. Kids come first,” one woman stated.
“How can he be a mommas boy?” someone asked. “You chose a man over your own kids. You are shameful! Those kids deserve better than you!”
Teen Mom 2 season 9A airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on Bravo TV.
