REPORT: Nene Leakes Banned From Filming the First Half of RHOA Season 12 After Getting Physical With a Crew Member, Could She Be Replaced?

NeNe Leakes is reportedly facing consequences for her attack on a Real Housewives of Atlanta crew member.

Following a shocking encounter during season 11, in which NeNe ripped a cameraman’s shirt and allegedly sent him to the hospital with a broken tooth, the longtime reality star has supposedly been forced to “sit out” on production for the first part of the upcoming 12th season.

According to Love B Scott, NeNe will be missing from the series’ debut episodes and could be banned from filming for even longer due to her “bad attitude” towards her producers and other executives of the Bravo TV series.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta season 12 began production two weeks ago and because NeNe is paid for each episode of the show, her wallet, and rumored $2.85 million salary, will be taking a hit as a result of her bad behavior during season 11.

In other news, rumors began swirling earlier this year in regard to Kenya Moore’s potential return to the show and now, according to Love B Scott, her comeback is said to be “a done deal.” In fact, she’s already been spotted filming with her co-stars and has reportedly agreed to feature her husband Marc Daly and their daughter, baby Brooklyn, on the show.

And while other reports had claimed Kenya had to take a pay cut, this report is denying that claim and states Kenya actually received a raise to return.

As NeNe is reportedly kept away from production for the time being, producers are said to be on the hunt for someone new, who may serve as her replacement. As the report explained, producers are hoping to find someone with a “BIG name” who is able to draw in viewers for the series.

UPDATE: A rep for NeNe is denying this report and claiming the reason NeNe isn’t filming with her co-stars is because she’s still in negotiations.

“I can say with authority that there is absolutely no truth to this. The only reason why she’s not currently shooting is because she is still in active negotiations with her contract,” the rep tells ET Online.
