RHOBH Cast Fires Back at Claims New Season Lacks Drama, They Tease New Feuds With New Cast Members as Kyle Richards Suggests a Lisa Vanderpump Return Would Be 'Nostalgic'

Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne teased the drama that is to come on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills at BravoCon.

Following reports of a potentially boring 10th season, Teddi and Erika hinted that their two new co-stars, Garcelle Beauvais and Sutton Stracke, have brought “some friction” to the group as the series’ longest-running star, Kyle Richards, spoke highly of a potential Lisa Vanderpump return.

“Anytime you bring new blood into anything, there’s going to be some drama,” Teddi told Entertainment Tonight. “There’s gonna be some getting to know each other and getting to know what works with each other, and the dynamic. So, yeah, you’re gonna see some friction.”

While some have worried that RHOBH won’t be the same after Lisa’s exit, Teddi, who announced that she is expecting her third child in September, laughed off rumors of a lackluster season, saying that she wishes things had been more relaxing for her and her co-stars.

“Of course it’s happening… and I may or may not be a part of it,” Erika added of the season 10 drama. “The great part about this season is that we have two new Housewives, which give two fresh views, two fresh approaches to the entire friend group, which is wonderful.”

According to Kyle, not everyone is getting along during RHOBH season 10, as has been reported, and she noted that “someone” had started the false rumor.

“Like usual, not everyone gets along,” Kyle says. “Everyone has a different opinion about things. [There’s] never a dull moment in Beverly Hills… It would be nice, though, because it would be a lot more relaxing, wouldn’t it?”

Although Erika said she wouldn’t have much to say to Lisa if the two of them came face-to-face during BravoCon, which Lisa allegedly made sure didn’t happen, she didn’t seem to be opposed to the idea of Lisa returning to the show. Instead, she noted that no housewife’s future can be predicted before making it clear that Lisa is “in the rearview” for now.

“I want whatever’s best for her,” Teddi added of Lisa’s possible comeback. “Completely.”

Kyle, who recently butted heads with Lisa after suggesting she wasn’t friendly during a restaurant run-in in Beverly Hills, wasn’t opposed to Lisa coming back to the show either.

“You know what? I’m always nostalgic, when people always ask,” Kyle explained. “The original cast, from season one, of course, I’d love to have any of them back.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 10 will air on Bravo TV sometime next year.
