Denise Richards is not taking the heat from the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills women lying down.
The reality star was reportedly the target of numerous attacks during the season 10 reunion taping and also reportedly fought back with a vengeance throughout the hours-long virtual taping.
The taping, which was filmed on July 16, has already been met with a whole lot of drama and push back. Lisa Rinna most notably called it “bullsh–t” for how mildly it dealt with the Brandi Glanville affair rumors.
Not even too far into this season, fans have already witnessed the drama boiling over between Denise and the other women, although Denise has been quite notorious for leaving the building when the going gets tough. Now, Denise is apparently not backing down.
“The ladies went in really hard on Denise at the reunion. Despite this, she held her own very well and fought back,” a source close to production told HollywoodLife.
Although the RHOBH women definitely came for their co-star, one cast member, newbie Garcelle Beauvais and long time friend of Denise came to her defense.
“Garcelle jumped to her defense on several occasions, but nobody else did,” the insider explained. “They [the cast] felt Denise had to answer to a lot of things and wasn’t honest all season. They felt a lot of her answers weren’t making sense.”
Despite Lisa’s fretting about the experience, the insider noted that “every single topic was covered” and that “no stone went unturned.” It’s safe to say that with the drama happening this season between Denise and the other women (and Denise’s husband Aaron Phypers), there was undoubtedly much to discuss.
“The ladies came at her for sure and Denise felt attacked. She absolutely took the brunt end of the stick,” the source shared. “She was the hottest topic at the reunion because of Aaron and Brandi.”
Although we’ll have to wait for the reunion to see how the drama went down, one thing is clear — things definitely reached a boiling point, with the ladies unfollowing each other all over social media. Brandi, who was not present at the taping, is set to film a one-on-one conversation with Andy Cohen.
